Today, my son received his Swordy Green certificate. Tomorrow, he turns 3. If I had put him in the lessons nearest our house, he would still be in knee deep water singing songs and splashing- in my arms. I am so glad I found PSS.

User

Think your getting a deal by putting your child in swim classes that are cheaper? Your missing out. Every penny spent at Paul Sadler is well worth it. The teachers are helpful and friendly. Both my children have learned so much & its amazing to see how much they grow in such little time. A+

One year ago my family was at the Fairmont Hot Springs and my 4 year old wouldn't even jump off the edge of the pool into my arms. She liked water but lacked confidence and skill. She started at Paul Sadler in January and this year when we made our return trip she not only went off the little diving board but the highest one as well. The smile on her face when she popped was was amazing! I couldn't believe she didn't chicken out or panic. She is now able to totally enjoy water and keep up with her older friends that travel with us. They have also been super accommodating and supportive of my youngest child who has movement and mobility issues. Their staff is all amazing and professional and I am so thrilled that their first experiences with swimming have been so great!

User

My son woukd compelatly loose ot everytime he got water in his face and showering was a nightmare. But now is getting so much better and he loves his lessons and going every week. A bit expensive but so worth it !!!

User

My son Jelani started learning to swim at 11 months old at Paul Saddlers in Riverbend. He is now 2 and a half years old and it was amazing to watch him progress at each lesson. He was always happy to get in the water. He loved it and the staff were amazing, so warm and friendly. Unfortunately we moved back to Ontario. If there was another Paul Saddlers in Ontario, he would definitely continue his swimming journey there, with no hesitation. With that being said, I would like to thank two of his main instructors Stacey and Eddie and also Stephanie for everything.

User

My daughter would act like the apocolypse hit when water went near her upper body yet alone her head. We had more progess in 3 classes than 2 session with the city! So great that she would even shower after class and not cry at bathtime. The instructors are firm but oh so patient. I thought it was a bit pricey but i would have to pay for 2x the lessons with the city to get the same progress so really it equals out.

Now my son is in it too and he has gained so many skills and confidence i couldn't be more proud.

The only downside is the 45min commute to lessons as we are so far in Edmontons northside, to get to the location gets tiring.

User

My daughter is so afraid of water. She wouldn't go swimming with us. But now she's with paul Sadler, and she enjoys her swimming lessons, she even got her swordy blue last week.

User

My 7yr old son just started this summer. His whole life, he's been afraid of water. I was getting disappointed how little progress he seemed to be making in the lowest level class - until yesterday! You see, we were invited to a private pool swim party - and my son did great! No yelling when he got splashed, he wore a life jacket and 'doggy paddled' everywhere even though he could touch the bottom of the shallow end. No screaming when we fell off the raft and his head went under...he'd cough & sputter, but get up & try to climb it again. He was giggling as he spun himself in circles in the water...things he could never do before. So thank you Swimland - I now know he may be making little improvements in class, he's making huge improvements for loving the water, having fun in the water and learning to be safe in the water. It's never too late to teach a child to swim, and Swimland is fabulous experience for children who are not comfortable in the water. Our family of 5 is looking forward to enjoying swimming together once again....so thank you!

User

Love Love Love Paul Sadler Swimland! My six-year-old refused to get her eyes wet and hated the other swim lessons we had her in. We heard good reviews on Paul Sadler Swimland and decided to give it a try. After 4 classes she is doing bobs in the water by choice and loving it. She looks forward to her weekly swim lessons and she has so much confidence in herself now. I love that the half hour they are in the water is spent learning and no time is wasted. Yes it is more expensive than the regular lessons at other facilities but she has gotten further in 4 classes at Paul Sadler than she had in 40 classes elsewhere.

User

It's a Great program, they really know how to work with kids. The teaching is nicely structured and effective, you can really see the progress the kids are making. The small class sizes of 5 with a teacher and a trainee provides a lot of individual attention for each child so they really get the support and learn what they are tasked to do!

My 2 boys are loving their weekly classes and look forward to getting their next level certificates and lollipop 🍭Reward!

Highly recommended program.

User

In only four lessons my son has improved dramatically in his comfort and abilities in the water. So glad we came here. Worth the extra drive for us in every way!!

User

I really love the positive environment this place has. My nine year old loves going to his lesson, there's never a fight.

User

I have been raving about the swimming lessons since we started with Paul Saddler. The staff with understanding and patient with my son as he transitioned to lessons without a parent with him. His swimming has grown so far in the last couple months.

Over the weekend my son fractured his collar bone (in the bath tub) and the customer service team was amazing getting our classes sorted out and refunding our class. Dealing with a 3 year old with a fracture is hard enough so thank you! Can't wait to come back when he gets the green light.

User

Great program! My children have gained so much confidence and are becoming skilled swimmers. I love the small class sizes. Would highly recommend.

User

Excellent program!! So exciting to watch our daughter develop each week!!

User

Even though the lessons are only 30 minutes, those 30 minutes are not wasted time. I've had my daughter in hour long lessons at other places, and learn nothing its just play time. After one season in other places it was just money thrown away, but with swimland The teachers give each child in their group individual attention and the students learn very fast. It is worth the money and I hope they expand to the east side of edmonton since I live on the other side of the city to get here!

User

Both my kids have been swimming with Paul Sadler for 10 months and I can't believe how far they have come! Before they started here they were both scared to put their face in the water. Right after my son received his maxi pink certificate we did a make up class and my son found the class extremely challenging. After that challenging class he was scared to go back and spent 2 days crying that he didn't want to go. When we got there he refused to get in the pool. The staff was AMAZING and talked to him and got him to joint the class at his favourite part (the back stroke). Once he got in he was all smiles and gained back some confidence! If I was ANYWHERE else they would just leave him pouting on the sidelines. Way to go Paul Sadler staff and thanks Taylor!

User

Went for a free assessment for my 4 yr old daughter and the instructor was AMAZING. Friendly and comforting to my daughter who is scared of the water. I like how the class sizes are 5 or less. However you guys were fixing your signs and I parked on the wrong side of the building and had to walk around and then I couldn't even find the entrance door because there was no signs or anything. Besides that we had a great time and are looking forward to starting our classes in March. 🖒

User

Great place, confident my daughter would survive in water. They put my daughter in another class to make up a new class. She regressed, and eventually got bored. It's quite pricey, and we enjoyed the value when she was challenged. Now she's not really challenged. So we no longer find any value.
