About Paws First Aid

Paws First Aid offers the Canada-wide Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid program in SE Calgary

Paws First Aid Description

The Paws First Aid pack currently consists of Ellis, Dutchie and Jake. Ellis became a certified Instructor with Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid in 2011. We currently teach in SE Calgary.

This page is for anyone who has taken a Paws First Aid course as well as anyone interested in taking our course, or hosting us.

The Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid program is the longest standing in Canada, and has expanded into other parts of the world. This curriculum is the only one that is 10 hours long, and focuses on both dogs AND cats.
You'll learn how to deal with emergencies, as well how to prevent them and recognize signs of illness or injury. You also learn how to bandage tricky areas such as ears, paws and tails, and of course CPR.
In our course you will practice on live dogs and a CasPeR mannequin to enhance your learning experience by offering a more real-life situation.

This course is open to everyone from pet owners and lovers to those working in the pet industry. Experience in first aid is NOT necessary!

Merchandise and gift certificates are also available.
