Peace River Regional Women'S Shelter

To provide a short-term, safe and supportive environment for battered women and their children, women in crisis, or other women needing emergency accommodation; and to provide these women with an opportunity to learn of services and alternatives. . . .

The Peace River Regional Women's Shelter offers a multitude of services including;

- Emergency residential services
- Follow up support for women leaving residential services
- Outreach support offered to all individuals who have been affected by violence and abuse
- Public education sessions

The Peace River Regional Women Shelter also actively participates in community collaborative initiatives to enhance the well being of individuals in Peace River and the surrounding area.
