Horrible customer service. I regret getting my engagement ring through this company and this particular branch. I will not be getting our wedding bands through Peoples.
My husband and I purchased a clearance ring that was part of my engagement/wedding ring set. A sales associate in the store searched 2 MONTHS to find this ring for us. We put it on layaway as it was to be my 1 yr anniversary gift.
We recently went to pick up said ring up and to our shock and dismay was told that it had been taken off of layaway and sold, 2 months after we had placed it on layaway. We did not recieve a single phone call/notification from the store that this was happening, otherwise we would have been down right away to purchase it. And they never returned our deposit either. As a result of their thoughtlessness, we now have to have the ring custom made if we wish to complete my set.
I called and spoke with the store manager, who assured me she was looking into matters and would call me the following week. It has been at least 3 weeks and I have yet to hear from her.
Plus my husband has put in a formal complaint to their head office and has not heard anything from them either.
The lack of communication has left us feeling very sour towards People's, especially this location, to the point where we will never have dealings with them again.
I'm disappointed I have to give this store at least 1 STAR.
My partner and I received excellent service! We stopped in to look at engagement rings and before you know it we had found the perfect one!
As a lesbian couple we also really appreciated how they made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. When we went back to pick out our wedding bands and finish paying for my ring, and the people working there were able to help us get an even better price because there was a new sale on.
We were greeted immediately, the service was lovely, and we're very happy with our purchases.
I am upset that I am required to give this at least a 1 star rating. Customer service, company wide, for Peoples is terrible. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. I have been waiting 5 weeks now to get my ring sized, with still no end in sight.
