Perfect Place Boarding And Grooming

Welcome to Perfect Place Kennels!

Perfect Place provides boarding and grooming for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. The safety and happiness off your pets is our number one priority!

All animals are provided with their own indoor pen (although families are welcome to room together! ). Dogs are escorted to our spacious outdoor yards a minimum of four times a day for exercise and exploration. We also take them for walks on our property's beautiful nature trails, and run supervised socialisation camps so that your dog can have fun and learn how to interact with all types of dogs!

Have a cat? We clean their pens daily, and your cat (or cats) will have free roam of the cattery for several hours a day. When we are sure that there are no dogs about, they are welcome to come into the office to help us with paperwork.

We are pleased to offer fully certified grooming services. Our grooming studio offers expert handling skills in a low volume salon.

Tara graduated from The Fur Institute grooming school in December 2008 and has been grooming professionally for 15 years. She enjoys grooming both mix breeds and purebred dogs, as well as doing breed specific clips. She has been involved in dogs most of her life, breeding and showing Chinese Crested Dogs, and has campaigned some of Canada’s top Chinese Crested's. She is involved in the Chinese Crested Club of Canada, the Canadian Kennel Club, and enjoys participating in local kennel club events. Tara’s vast knowledge of training, and work with dogs has been invaluable in her grooming career. Her understanding of dogs and their behaviour helps guide her in working with each dog left to her care.

Our hours are 8: 30AM until 12PM, and 2PM until 6PM daily. Tours are available from 3PM to 5PM daily, and we encourage you to bring your dogs!
