Perm Instruments

We use a technology, similar to MRI, called Magnetic Resonance, in order to develop a series of instruments that can accurately measure thermal heavy oil and bitumen production streams. Other metering technologies fail, primarily due to the complex nature of the emulsions, changing salinity, viscosity, etc - our technology is working at the hydrogen proton bearing level, where none of those factors effect its accuracy. Our technology is uniquely positioned to solve many problems for heavy oil metering around the world. We have done field trials and have scientific publications to back up the claims. The team is a world class scientific team comprised of PhD Physicist, PhD Electrical Engineer and PhD Chemical and Petroleum Engineer, and one of them is a Professor at the University of Calgary. We are ready to expand to the next level and go commercial, but we need financing to continue.
