Pharmasave Bashaw

Now that our small town pharmacy is part of the Pharmasave buying group, you will find Pharmasave brand products on our shelves. We're delivering value to our customers through these product offerings, as they are very high quality and a fraction of the price of brand name products!

Eric and Georgie have decided to partner with the Pharmasave drugstore banner program. This means some big updates are coming to Bashaw Drugs over the next few months. Don't worry, you'll continue to receive the same amazing care from our pharmacists and assistants, but we are planning some renovations and we will be carrying some new products! The transition will be a gradual one, so you'll have to stop by often to see what's new but the first change that you'll see is our new name: Pharmasave Bashaw.

Well, the keys have officially been turned over to the new owners! Eric and Georgie have some big shoes (or maybe it's pill bottles?) to fill, but they have the support of the amazing Bashaw Drugs team. There will be a couple of new faces in the pharmacy, but you'll see all of the familiar faces, too!

Did you know that Bashaw Drugs has only had six owners throughout the entire 100+ years of its' operations in the town? Ted and Diane Szumlas are the first owners to to sell the business to a family member - their oldest daughter, Georgina Gaudet and her husband, Eric. This young, dynamic duo will be lucky number 7 owners of the pharmacy in Bashaw. We are excited to keep the legacy of this pharmacy going and bring new energy, products, and services to your friendly, neighborhood drugstore!

2018 has been an exciting year for the Gaudet family. In May, we welcomed baby Evie and now, on July 1st, Eric and Georgie are going to be business owners! Eric and Georgie have purchased Bashaw Drugs from Georgie's parents, Ted and Diane Szumlas. Although you'll still be able to find Ted at the pharmacy, he has big plans to do a lot more fishing this summer :) Stay tuned for even more big announcements, later this week!
