Came here on a Wednesday afternoon at 2:30pm. I was seated and provided with water, put in my order. Place wasn't busy like it usually is. Watched 3 other customers come in after me. After 30 minutes of waiting for my food, I realized that the people who came in after me, who ordered after me, were all eating and finishing up their meals. Well, all I had to do was get up and walk out, which is what I did. Don't know if I'll ever return to this place. Too bad, considering I was a long time loyal customer.

Reasonably priced Vietnamese dishes, and the serving is fairly generous. Vermicelli dishes are readily available most of the time, and you wait a little more for pho noodles. The place is packed with many waiting between 5:30 and 8pm. I tried beef satay, and the broth is excellent but it didn't have enough meat or vegetables compared to Balsa in South Calgary. I would still go to Balsa which is the best restaurant in my books for beef satay noodle.

Really tasty food, bad service. I have been going there for a year, because it tastes so good, but every time I go I leave feeling annoyed...

The tables are often sticky when you sit down, even if they have been "washed." The servers do not look after tables individually, so nobody will ever worry about checking if you need anything after you get your food (more water, a second napkin). There are one or two friendly servers and the rest are too stressed out to care about their customers' experience. If you have a problem (like a big gross fly in your soup), the inexperienced servers will not know how to handle it, and will not replace your soup until you ask. You really have to put in a lot of effort to get a server's attention. The bean sprouts that come with soup are on plates that are too small, so half of them touch the table. Servers will come to your table while you are eating to top up the chopsticks and spoons, without even a hello (can't this happen when the tables are empty?). When you go to pay, they will ask you where you were sitting and what you ate, because nobody has brought your bill to you.

I have gone several times a month for the past year and nobody has indicated that they recognize me. Even when it's slow, there is still bad service. I know serving can be very difficult, and lots of these things are really minor, but they happen every time! This is just bad training and bad management. It is the restaurant, not the servers individually. I suggest take-out. It really does taste very good, at a great price, or I wouldn't keep going back.

The generous portion. Especially the beef in the soup seemed like endless.

We visited here over 8 p.m. on last Friday, even that time it was so crowded. And it made our expectation raised. Vegetables they serve like bean sprouts were also surprisingly fresh.

No. 3, special noodle soup (which I ordered) was good but seemed a little bit lack of complexity of various Vietnamese ingredients, so somewhat tasted greasy for me. But the No. 1, Huong Viet’s special sate beef noodle soup (my husband ordered) was fantastic. It was moderately spicy, the way of cooking on beef was beautiful for both of us. It might also perfect for a hangover. I will order No. 1 on next visit.

The staffs were efficient even though looked insanely busy. But if you expect them full service, you might be disappointed.

Really good pho and food in general but the service is lacking. The staff there seem over worked and miserable. Most times they don't even greet you and just point to where you can sit down. Service is quite fast but they could be friendlier!

Only 5 minutes from where I live, I would have dinner here and order their Special Beef noodles. The serving is very generous with Thai Basil, lime and bean sprouts that are fresh and crunchy. I also love their salad roll that has shrimp and peanut sauce. They are known for their long lines and it is always worth the wait. One should try their subs also its packed with lots of veggies and meat. I would say it is a cozy place that families and groups would enjoy.

Generous portions, delicious bun. Service is so so but fast. Good all around.

The most generous portion of Vietnamese rice noodle soup I have ever eaten. Especially the beef in the soup seemed like endless.

Had a chance to visit this gem the other day for a lunch meeting. Had to go for my standard, Satay Beef, Loved it! I have to say its nice that they offer a smaller size, I can never finish. Food was quick, service was on point. Located in a busy strip mall.

Good beef satay pho. I don't go for eat in anymore it's just too busy, takeout is usually efficient, delivery is not. I also enjoy their 26a (a lemongrass seafood and noodle stir fry).

Decent service for a pho place but what really sets this place apart is the quality of the food. Been here several times and the place is almost always packed and the food is consistently good. My only major beef is the wait time to get a table.

Best bang for the buck... For now. I've noticed The price has increased slowly over the years. Portion size is enormous.

Service is quick and pleasant. Their large size soups and vermicelli bowls are very large. If you're not a person with a very large appetite these could be 2 meals for you. Pho broth is good, though I found their satay soup was a bit weak and I needed some extra satay sauce. Also prices are very reasonable.
