Emailed for a repair quote on 09/05/17. Automated email response stated: "Your request is very important to us, and someone will be contacting you shortly." 10 days later, still no quote. Not what I would call a reliable customer response service.

It might seem wrong to some that I'm doing a review on a business that I haven't used yet.

I am disabled with a movement disorder and damage from a truck impact. It's crucial to me to conserve my resources. If I make too many trips or get all stressed out, I pay for it in pain and inability to function.

This company, unlike their competition, admits when they have made a mistake. They don't criticize, use demeaning language, or name calling in their responses.

I'm considering repairs or replacement of my phone due to a screen crack causing problems. So I was going over reviews and responses. Sarcasm and being called 'princess' or referring to others as 'Mickey Mouse' is not appropriate for a business response to customers.

Which is why I will be going to Phone Freaks, if I decide a replacement glass could work. I am confident that if I ask if they're accessible, or other such questions, that the reply won't be insults and name calling. I believe the answers from this company would be honest and reliable.

For a person with permanent chronic and acute pain, due to disabilities, knowing what I will face before heading out makes all the difference.

For all the things you do right and all the things you DON'T do wrong, you deserve five stars from this disabled local guide!

PS Do you sell phones too? If so you might be the best place regardless of whether I repair or replace.

Out $200 and still have a cracked screen after multiple visits.

As you can see by their response below, insulting a past customer mirrors what kind of people they are.

I brought my Sony Xperia Z5 in with a shattered screen. They quoted $200, which I accepted. A week goes by after I dropped my phone off and I still had not heard back, so I call. They say sorry that I didn't receive a call or email since it has been ready for a few days, I didn't mind. I noticed the screen colour was a bit off compared to the original, but I was happy that the screen was fixed.

That night I noticed light was coming out of both sides of my screen in the dark. So I brought it back to get re-sealed and clamped. Again, I didn't receive confirmation when it was completed, and had to call to confirm.

I noticed the new screen would not turn on during a call, and I couldn't use the dial-pad or speakers. I took it back and they said Sony uses two different colours of screen, a reddish-brown and a blue, they installed the incorrect colour and reordered a blue screen. He said it should take about a week. I call after a week since, again, I hadn't received confirmation that my phone was completed. The person who answered the phone asks "Are you sure we have it?" while rustling trying to look for my phone. I say "I sure hope you do" questioning his lack of customer service skills. He asks if he can call back once he looks around for my phone. He calls back after an hour and says it's ready to be picked up and the screen is working properly during a call. I pick it up and it seems great.

That afternoon everything worked fine. I left for work, put my phone in the phone compartment in my purse, went into the elevator and got in my car in the parkade. I took my phone out and noticed a new crack and the touch screen does not work. I call back and let him know the new screen cracked with hardly any impact, just being placed into my purse. I wondered if there was a weakness with the install or if the new screen was a dud. He calls back with a quote of $130 to replace this new screen that they just installed. I said there's no way I'm paying an additional $130 after paying them $200 originally. He says Sony phones have the worst screens and he doesn't doubt that this happened. I say, well then you shouldn't bother accepting the repair job if you know something like this will happen. After arguing and getting nowhere, I say thanks for nothing and hang up.

My main point is - if I took my car in to get a part fixed, then the part broke right away after picking my car up, I know a car mechanic would fix the new part for free, that's a given anywhere you go and that's respectful customer service.

I am now going to be purchasing my own parts online and installing this with the help of my brother who is an electrician. Thanks for nothing Phone Freaks, so unprofessional and weak customer service skills, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

They didn't have the part (headphone jack) for my phone on hand but were able to order it in for me quickly. I dropped my phone off for repair about an hour before they closed and they were able to replace the headphone jack within the hour. I would recommend giving them more time than I did however as they couldn't guarantee they would get it done. New headphone jack works great, can't even tell that they had to take it apart.

I had a Note 4 with a broken screen and another with broken innards. They put the good screen on the good innards for a very reasonable price. Excellent service in all respects.

I rarely write reviews unless I've had a very positive or very negative experience with a company. I'm happy to say that this is a very positive review. I'm extremely impressed with how professional they are and how fast the turn around is for repairs. They're incredibly in depth and will make sure that you're on your way happy. They really go far with this which you don't see everyday. I had a screen replaced on a Nexus 5, and when I came to pick it up, we discovered that the proximity sensor was damaged as well. They didn't have the part, so they went out of their way to go get it the same day so I didn't have to wait until Saturday (Good Friday being a holiday). Their parts are incredibly high quality as well. The screen is not a cheap $40 screen from China that I repaired it myself with, they are top notch. Do yourself a favor and support a good business such as this one, you won't regret it.

Amazing experience. Customer service was great. The one staff member who was working at the time was very friendly and honest. Upper management was also quite diligent when finishing up my ticket. They made dealing with my damaged phone extreamly easy. I highly recommend using them.

This place did a phenomenal job on my phone. Not many repair places work on HTC m8's they are difficult and delicate. My port and mic quit working. What's different is that they will actually show you the problem and what they found. Josh, who helped me with my phone, was 100% transparent. He even cleaned the inside corrosion of my phone and now its working much more efficient then it was before. Even if you find cheaper price, this place will give you great service and go as far as they can to make your phone like new. Its also reassuring to receive a 6 month warranty if I have any problems. I usually get a month or 60 days. 5 stars.
