Plamondon Whitesands Resort

Our management team is excited to announce a new offer beginning August 1, 2018. When you stay 7 nights you only pay for 6 (excluding cabins). So come and stay for a week and pick some wild berries on site. We have lots of raspberries, pin cherries and Saskatoons.

Good news everyone. The fire Marshall just stopped by and announced we are officially off fire ban. Yeah

Is someone missing their sunglass clip. These were left in the office last night

Just talked to our fire warden, at 12:00 noon today we went on total ban including all fire pits, and off road vehicles. Sorry for any inconvenience this this may cause people, however it is beyond our control. Fell free to bring your propane fire pits/ barbecues to use during this time.

Hello everyone, with may long weekend fast approaching we just wanted to let you know that due to the continued high water levels of the lake again this year, and mother natures destructiveness, our boat launch will be closed for the 2018 camping season. If you need to know where some of the other boat launches are on the lake, our office staff should be able to direct you to the ones nearby. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Power is on in the b-loop now. Snow is all gone. Ice on the lake isn't going anywhere😁

Come join us for our end of the season fireworks. The will happen tonight at 10pm in front of the big dock/boat launch.

Meet Megan. Megan has been with us for the last 4 summers, she makes a killer ice cream cone, or milkshake, and also is one of the friendly voices on the phone, this year she started working on the front desk as well.

If anyone knows a Brandon Buelow, could you let him know to get ahold of us please.

Our employee snapshot this time is Shaun. Shaun is our truck driver and maintenance guy. This will be Shaun's 6th summer with us. He makes sure that the water tanks are full, and the sewers are hauled away. If you see Shaun around give home a wave.

We have been camping at Whitesands for 9 years. The ownership and staff are amazing, they're what keep us coming back. Campground is always clean and well kept. Love all the new additions through the years. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see you this summer

To all the people at the resort, you were the best two years ago when we were evacuated from the Beast of a wildfire. We called and you accepted us and we stayed there for a month. With all the donations of food and other things you guys made us more welcome and loved than we could of hoped for. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you ��

This is, by far, our family's favorite place to camp. The staff is very accommodating and the security team is friendly and fair. Generally the lots are fitted to the size of your trailer. Overall excellent value for the money and it's only 3 hours from Fort McMurray!! Strongly suggest you give it a try I'm sure you'll be impressed.

They treated us so good during the evacuation of the fire in Fort Mcmurray they gave us a camper to stay in for free I loved it ther before that also good fishing and all around nice people .

The soft serve ice cream is worth the trip alone! But on top of that this place has a safe family friendly environment with amazingly kind staff and is positioned right on the water with boat rentals as well! Definitely our favourite place to spend a sunny day! ☀️

The perfect place to get away ! Very friendly and helpful staff who make you feel very welcome ! I'll definitely be going here at least once a year with my family !!!

Talk about your stress release. This is a great place to go that has a friendly staff and very help. I look forward to every trip.

As evacuees of the Fort McMurray fire we were hoping to be able to park our trailer and stay here until we could figure things out. We weren't expecting anything more than any other time of year but what we received was overwhelming. There have been such heartwarming acts of kindness and those that work here have been keeping the place immaculate and providing bbqs and even a birthday cake for 2 little girls. This ended up being an evacuation relief center and trailers full of food, clothing and supplies have come in for us. People have been driving by handing out gift cards and even cash. We are so extremely great full for all the volunteers and owners to make this hard time a wonderful experience.

Second trip there, very friendly people and staff. Everything is very clean and well maintained . Love it there. Only thing that is missing is a beach to walk on, didn't see one there. Will be back again for sure
