Portage Pool Description
Portage Pool is attached to Portage College and is run by Lac La Biche County. The pool was constructed in 1992 and has a 5 lane 25m pool, 25 person hot tub, and a wading pool for small children.
Other features include: a wet steam room, male and female change rooms containing accessible washrooms and shower stalls, a family change room for families with children aged 6 + who wish to change together, an accessibility lift for the main pool, and baby change tables in a change rooms and washrooms.
Pay lockers are available in the main change rooms for $1 or padlocks are available for sale at the front desk.

Holiday Public Swim Schedule ends today! Join us for the last 2-4pm open swim of the winter vacation, then we're back to regular hours Saturday January 5, 2019.
Bronze Cross starts January 19! If you passed Bronze Med, enroll In Cross to complete the next step to becoming a lifeguard - so far we only have 1 enrolled and the course is in danger of being cancelled!
HIGH FIVE is Canada’s only comprehensive quality standard for children’s programs and holds true to the following five Principles of healthy child development that our research indicates are essential for providing a positive experience for kids. This course is great for anyone working with children, like coaches, instructors, programmers, customer service staff, and more!

Did you know that ice should be at 13-17cm to go on with a snowmobile? Make sure you stick to lake ice and check thickness in several locations.
