We used Posh Pooch for our 'first-time-ever' boarding of our almost 5 year-old dog in February. He's a little guy so we chose this place since they have a 'small dog run' and big dogs are kept separate. We stayed in contact (nervous fur-parents! ) while away and everything went really well. Buddy was even better socialized when we stopped at a pet store on the way home! We also chose to have the 'bath' option for pick-up day and were very happy overall. We'll use them again, for vacations or just even daycare (might do that while work is done on our place or just for socialization) and would recommend them to anyone. They DO require vaccinations and other prerequisites so check them out for more info.

We take our dog Remy there and have been taking him there since he was about 3 months old. He is always very happy to see the staff and comes home completely exhausted from playing all day. The staff here genuinely cares about all the animals they look after and it shows with the amount of trust the animals have for them.

We LOVE Posh Pooch. We were referred by a friend and haven't looked back. The girls are attentive to our sweet Chewie and share the funny stories of his daily adventures. He can't wait to go to daycare and we are at peace knowing he's enjoying a place that is just as passionate about loving our dog just like we would. Thanks everyone at Posh Pooch, we love ya'll!

This past year my boyfriend and I took Roman into our care, he came with pretty bad separation anxiety and after the trials of crate training him (hours of pterodactyl noises) we were a little nervous about taking him to daycare. But considering all his high energy we thought it would be good for him to get out at least once during the work week on top of his daily walks.

We were told Roman would rush the gate whenever he got the chance to escape and they often had to keep him on his leash but with Posh Pooch's patience and care he now easily leaves me in the mornings when I drop him off and actually spends his day playing with the other dogs. Thanks Posh Pooch!

User

This is the place for peace and mind for your precious pet. Unbelievable as to how well our dog was taken care of. Many thanks to the staff and all.

User

This is the only place we leave our English Bulldog Texas. After feeling terrible about leaving him there 2 weekends in a row the staff was very reassuring and offered to take pictures to ease my mind while being away from him. Thank you so much for all that you do, and for taking care of our fur baby when we can't :)

User

There are no words to express how much I appreciate Posh Pooch. My dogs are not all that well-behaved (my own fault, I know) and I had avoided doggy daycares for years for fear of being judged.

But when I was faced with having to board them for two weeks, I finally went in for a visit.

Now... even though I live in St. Albert, this is where my dogs go. They love it there and the staff seem to genuinely like having them there. I love when I walk in and the staff tell me how happy they are to see my pups.

It's hard to trust other people with your dogs... I'm so fortunate to have Posh Pooch on my side :)

User

Posh is Awesome!! Kash has not lifted his head since he came home today he is so tired from having so much fun!! Thank you so much!!!

User

Our dog loves it here! Always exhausted by the end of the day. They do a great job grooming him as well! Jax never stops shedding, but they severely decrease the amount of fur on my floors at home! Our new puppy will also be coming here after she's fully healed from her spay.

User

My dog marches straight in when I need to drop her off for a few days... She doesn't even look back at me to say 'goodbye' ...

I love knowing she is there while I'm out of town - I know she's happy - I never worry about her.

The best part is: she comes home super clean and impeccably brushed out!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

User

My beagle Rocket has been coming here occasionally for years. It makes me happy to know he can be off having fun when I have a long day at work, or that he's well cared for if we pop out of town overnight. He always seems exhausted when I pick him up so I know he plays hard! They also do a great job trimming his nails - something he won't let me do anymore. From what I've been told it makes a big fuss about it, but they always manage to get it done. Very recommended!

User

I really appreciated being able to check the Facebook page for photos while our pup was boarding. I also really like that Posh Pooch provides fully enclosed spaces for each dog to sleep in, as well as an enforced nap time. Our pup is medium to low energy and can get overwhelmed easily by high energy pups; knowing she was able to snooze in a private place was really why we chose Posh. We will definitely be bringing Grace back!

User

I have been bringing my 2 small dogs Franklin and Buffy here since they were puppies (approx. 3 years now) and they are always well taken care of, whether it's just for daycare or for a week of boarding. When my dogs are nervous, the staff take the time to ease them into the pack. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and I feel safe leaving my dogs in their care. I would recommend these guys to anyone as I have had nothing but positive experiences so far!

User

I dropped my puppy Stella off this morning for the first time. She's 4 months old and, as any new dog owner would be, I was a little nervous. But the girl at the front (and I am sorry I did not catch her name because she was very friendly and welcoming) was so excited to meet her and was quick to come around the desk to introduce herself to Stella. And I watched as she brought Stella into the small dog enclosure and I felt instantly comfortable. She stayed with her to let her catch her bearings and then off she went to play. Can't wait to pick up Stella tonight! I have a feeling she won't want to leave! Thanks Posh Pooch for making this nervous Mom feel comfortable. I'm sure Stella is going to love spending every Wednesday with your team!

User

I Cannot thank the staff enough for taking such awesome care of our boxer girl! We left her for 10 days while we left the country. When I picked her up, she didn't care to see me! Lol She ran right past me to the girl at the desk and jumped all over her - stubby tail just wagging! Haha! (I apologize I do not recall the names of the amazing girls that were there last week at pick up!) They were sad to see her go and that spoke volumes to me that they truly cared for her as one of their own. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Keela. We will not hesitate to come back again and again!

User

Daisy Duke was a part of the Posh Pooch family for over five years until we just moved to Calgary. Daycare Monday to Friday and boarding every once in a while. The staff at Posh Pooch are awesome! They have accommodated her so well over the years during surgeries and just getting older. They understand each of the dog's personalities and cater to them. I have always felt confident that she was in great care. Thank you so much for looking after my girl so well! We're going to miss you guys!

User

I used posh pooch to board my one dog for a week, I had never boarded an animal before. I am very happy with posh in itself, however I did have some concerns as well such as receiving the news that my boy had injured himself a few days after the incident even though I had called them the day after and was not informed. Great friendly staff, and super amazing place, and I highly recommend it to my friends and family.

User

We brought our dog in today for assessment as they required, the lady took him in for five minutes and came out said” he’s very hyper and already started running in circles, which is not normal”. He is a 10 months old puppy who is very play and non-fearful, of course you can expect him to be excited to see new friends! She also called him “not normal because he drank water from the bowl”, well isn’t he making himself comfortable? She said if we want to bring him here they will HAVE to put him on a treadmill for 15 minutes to calm him down with extra charge. She called him “not normal” for several times and said usually the dogs are quite shy. People have different personalities, why dogs have to be the same? I don’t know how she defines “normal” but if they’re not the perfect little quiet angels don’t bother to bring them in.

User

We've been taking our dog Maisie to Posh Pooch ever since she was 10 weeks old. She got bit once when the stuff dropped the ball and decided to put her with the bigger dogs as she was high energy but wasn't quite ready with out asking ask how we felt about it. Maisie ended up with stitches and shunts. Obviously their lack of supervision was a factor. We let it go and gave them another chance. Today my wife took Maisie in then not too long after she got a call telling her that Maisie got bit again and that it's because she's high energy. This time she got staples and they said Maisie can't go to daycare anymore.

Now what kind of place takes on the responsibility of looking after your dog and let something like that happen then tell that your dog is not welcome anymore. That's like having your kid get beat up at school then get told he can't go to school anymore. That's total bs Posh Pooch staff and owner. You are disgraceful how you run your place. I wonder what else you guys get away with behind those walls. Looks cute when u post all those pic but God only knows how much you lack in the care giving department.
