Pottery Barn

Not even worth for 1 star. I had been waiting for my one small lamp for about a month, which they didn't even let me know how long I should wait and not even notify me of the delay due to some manufacturing issues. and Finally after a month, I went there to pick up my lamp and they said everything was totally packaged into a box; and I got home and there was no lampshade. WORST EVER!!

My sister in Calgary made a number of purchases from your kids store and when I was having troubles finding the right desk for our new home, she recommended Pottery Barn. I looked on-line and immediately fell in love with the Whitney Desk, but wasn't sure how easy it would be to purchase (sight unseen) from Kelowna and then get it here. To my surprise, not hard at all! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and we had our beautiful new desk to our new home in no time. We are extremely happy with the service we received and the quality of product provided for such a great price. Thanks again and looking forward to making more purchases from your store!

I will NEVER set foot in Pottery Barn again. Wanted a duvet cover. Looked on line at Pottery Barn. Didn't catch the fact that if you type in Potterybarn.ca, you get the Canadian site, but when you click on any section (like duvets), you go automatically to the US site. Lots of nice duvet covers, on sale, lots of selection. Could get a nice one on sale for about $60. In I go to the store in Calgary, can't find one less than $250 and their selection not only is limited but nothing like the online ones I saw. They had a sale, with only certain covers getting 20% off - whoopee.
Sales clerk tells me that they not only don't have a Canadian website (because they ONLY have 6 Canadian stores, so they can't have one. Huh??), but they don't have a Canadian distribution centre. I think the way their website is set up is really deceiving marketing, which I told her. Not that she cared.
I will shop elsewhere.

WORST experience ever!!!!! I have been shopping at this store ever since it opened, never had any problems until mid last year when each time i ask to speak to a manager i always get the same one she is very unprofessional not to mention extremely rude to customers. Not just me but any of my friends that have been helped by her all same the same thing about her. I have written so many emails to their main office and all i ever get is apology letter but nothing ever changes. There's two of them that have a similar name but the one im talking about appears to be very friendly when you first meet her but never is able to help customers correctly. She really left such a bad taste in my mouth and i think its safe to say i wont be going back to that store as long as she works there.

If only there was pottery barn in UK

If you can't buy it in store, DON'T order it! I had a horrible customer service experience with Pottery Barn at Chinook Centre. We ordered lamps and lamp shades, and they told us that they would be in 3 weeks later. After not hearing from them for 3 weeks, I called and they had only received one lamp. They had not even shipped the remaining components of the order. I was told they would arrive in another 3 weeks (maximum). After another 3 and a half weeks, I called again, and they did not know where the shipment was. They said they would look into it, and call me back with a solution later that day. I called back 3 days later and they still had not figured it out.

I asked for a complete refund, and they could not even do this right! They only refunded 3 out of the 4 items, and I had to call back AGAIN to get my complete refund.

Save yourself the hassle and frustration and shop somewhere else, its not worth it!
