Poultry Health Services is a veterinary consulting practice that works primarily with commercial poultry producers.

Poultry Health Services is a veterinary consulting practice that works primarily with commercial poultry producers. We work with the industry on a number of different levels including diagnostics, production consulting and serological services.

We perform the diagnostic component of our services in coordination with Alberta Agriculture and collect diagnostic data for their disease surveillance network (PAHSS, AIMS). We also provide production and disease prevention consultation for a number of farms and for Lilydale Foods in Alberta. Our practice operates a serology lab which we use to detect antigens in blood samples for diagnostic and vaccination program monitoring purposes.

One of the driving philosophies behind the team at Poultry Health Services is to be active members of our professional, industry and local communities. We are active contributing members in a number of associations and working groups including: the AVMA, CVMA, AAAP, ACPV, WVPA, WestVet group, PSIW, and the Alberta Poultry Centre of Excellence.

In an effort to improve our science based health and diagnostic service we are actively involved in research initiatives with the University of Alberta, University of Saskatchewan, AAFRD and industry partners.
