A recent survey found that out of 143 parents surveyed, 44 per cent wanted care within five kilometres of their home or workplace, with 26 per cent wanting it within 10 kilometres. What are your thoughts on this?

An interesting article that makes sense if you think about it. Parents are so busy, why would they want to drive a long distance to take children back and forth to daycare, especially when they can find a highly-qualified nanny that fits completely into their lifestyle. What are your thoughts on this? https://bit.ly/2LOF0bs

There's no doubt that the Alberta $25-a-day Daycare is a hot topic these days. Making daycare more affordable can certainly benefit many familiies. But you still have to judge the quality of the care, and compare the overall benefits of daycare against hiring a nanny. Here's a good article that may help you decide. https://www.verywellfamily.com/daycare-vs -nanny-pros-and-co…

There are many Non-Licensed Agencies on the internet. It’s important to be cautious. How Do You Determine if An Agency is Licensed? Do your research! Many agencies charge the workers enormous fees in cash, which can never be traced. Do not place your trust in an agency before doing your research. Here's a list of questions you should ask an Agency before working with them: https://bit.ly/2Arty5g

Sadly this happens far too much all across Canada. Read this family's story here: https://bit.ly/2Lqb8qx Yes! We may be biased, but we truly believe that Hiring a Nanny is the best alternative. :)

IF YOU SEE THIS POST ON FACEBOOK PLEASE CONSIDER THE SOURCE, THIS PERSON HAS NOT IN ANY WAY BEEN ABLE TO PROVE THESE CLAIMS, EVEN THOUGH SHE CLAIMS TO HAVE A VIDEO AND A NANNY CAM. I SUSPECT THAT MOSTLY or TOTALLY IT IS UNTRUE.
THIS IS TO STRICTLY TO WARN PARENTS I AM IN LEGAL ACTION... SO PLEASE BLUR OUT MY NAME IF YOU SHARE I DON'T WANT TO RUIN MY CASE BUT WANT TO WARM MOMS AND DADS.!I don't know what the police are doing but I can't bare the thought of another family going... through the heart break we did. We hired an overseas nanny through preferrednannies, these nannies are government checked and trained. So we chose a nanny to live in our home and care for our children. We loved this nanny... she had our whole family fooled and in front of us with our children she was god sent... sang, played and seemed to love our children. But I started to have weird mommy instincts that something was off, and so we placed a nanny cam, and sure enough she was hitting, whipping our children with a comb, twisting their arms, pushing and throwing them around ( she also used an object to make cuts on their hands). I should mention I seen this all happening and was speeding home in horror. ( all this happened in one day) She sat on her cellphone the entire time and the only interaction she had with them was when she was hurting them. I can't believe what my kids went through. So to all you moms if you have a live in nanny please look for signs from your children or install cameras because she had us fooled. She is currently still in Edmonton. HER NAME MERCIEL GAOAT so if she tries to seek a position with your family please don't hire her! My hopes with the police case is to have her charged and deported. But its been over a week and I haven't heard from then.
