I'm not from Edmonton so when I needed to take my car in for a transmission issue, I was at a loss of where to go. After some Googling and reading reviews, I gave Pro Tech Transmission a call and they were absolutely awesome. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating to deal with on the phone. They answered all my questions before I even brought my car in and gave me quotes so I knew what I would be dealing with. Once I did bring my car in, they were great. There was a mishap with AMA towing my car to the wrong spot and the owner Rob had to step out and when he did he stopped at a few nearby shops to find out where my car was and direct the AMA tow truck driver to the correct shop. Patti was very helpful and had all the paperwork ready for me and was just lovely to chat with. They called in a timely manner and let me know what was wrong with my vehicle and had the quote all ready. Once we made the decision to rebuild the transmission, it was done within a few days and I was able to pick it up with no issues, even was able to collect AMA rewards on the cost of the rebuild.
An added bonus is that Patti and Rob bring their cute little dog Ty with them to work and he is more than happy to except some affection. Any place that brings their dog to work with them, must be a pretty wholesome and good business in my books. Hopefully I don't have any more transmission issues but if I did in the future, I would be more than happy to return to deal with Pro Tech Transmissions :)
