Progressive Academy is a non-denominational accredited private school dedicated to providing exceptional programs for students Age 3 to Grade 12

Progressive Academy's education is based on the premise that each child is excited about learning and wants to help make the world a better place. We believe that given the chance, students will pursue the most brilliant of dreams and that this will help to move our culture forward. In pursuit of dreams we help our students: Explore, Engage and Create.
We understand that children learn at different rates, their interests are diverse, and their abilities limitless. We recognize these factors in our programs, and with the flexibility of our amazing teaching team, it is quite common for our students to move through the grades at irregular rates. We make learning as authentic as possible; allowing students to explore their interests through tailored options classes, volunteer work, amazing field trips, and career mentor programs. We believe that students should be taught HOW to learn. This is achieved by teaching strong literacy skills from a young age which are the base to research skills, allowing student to question and discover for themselves.
We recognize the importance of family in education, and therefore choose to keep the school environment small, warm, and open to family. All of teachers work with families and speak honestly with parents about their children strengths and weaknesses.
