Prospect Downs Stables is a unique hunter / jumper program for dedicated and discerning riders who want to learn the technical and equitation skills to develop their horse to its full potential.

Conveniently located within Calgary city limits on MacLeod Trail and 226th Ave S. Stall, paddock and field board are offered - please contact for availability.

Lisa Smith, BEd:
With over 12 years experience as a special education teacher, Lisa is the owner and trainer of Prospect Downs. As a teacher, Lisa understands how quality, effective, and detailed instruction empowers riders and inspires them to the next level. Lisa helps riders through the challenging process of combining technical skills with the depth of feel to prepare them for the show ring. As one of the owners of Derochie Stables, and an experienced coach and rider, Lisa offers horses and riders outstanding care and attention to detail.
