About Psychologists' Association Of Alberta

The Psychologists Association of Alberta (PAA) is the primary professional organization for psychologists in Alberta. Our Mission is to advance the science-based profession of psychology and to promote the well-being and potential of all Albertans.

Psychologists' Association Of Alberta Description

The PAA is involved in a wide range of activities and has many volunteer run committee's, such as the "Public Education Committee", the "Psychologically Healthy Workplace Committee", the "Supervision Committee", "PsyD Task force", the "School Psychology Committee", the "Alberta Health Services Psychology Task force", and the "Health Portal Task Force".

The PAA provides the public and it's members with workshops and conferences, video courses, awards, a public referral service. The PAA also maintains a disaster response network and a psychological services fund.

The PAA also publishes the Psymposium three times a year. This periodical includes articles from members, book reviews, and general information about the professions for professionals.
