Pvs Immigration- Canadian Immigration Lawyer

I am a Canadian immigration lawyer in Calgary, Canada. I worked at the Department of Justice providing legal services directly to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC, formerly CIC) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) for 15 years prior starting my own boutique immigration firm. I assists individual clients with all their immigration needs, including permanent resident applications under Express Entry system, Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), Spousal and Family Sponsorship, Study Permits and Citizenship Applications. My corporate /business immigration practice includes, Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), Work Permits, LMIA exempt work permits under International Treaty Agreements, Intra-company transferees (ICT), Global Talent Stream, Global Skills Strategy Stream, Self-Employed, Start-Up Visa applications and assisting clients navigate Employer compliance audit by IRCC. I also represents clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court of Canada, challenging visa refusals and inadmissibility issues. My first hand experience with the immigration departments has given me an in-depth understanding of the legal framework within which immigration policies and programs are established and operated. During my role as legal counsel to IRCC and CBSA, I advised the two departments on various immigration program and policies, assisted hearings officers and reviewed several Federal Court and Court of Appeal legal submissions. I bring all of this experience and knowledge to find practical and cost-effective solutions to my client's immigration issues. I was born and raised in Chennai, India and speak Tamil fluently. I personally know and understand the challenges and the opportunities of moving to a new country .
