About Quick Sand Volleyball
The Marda Loop Communities Association and Quick Sand Beach Volleyball would like to invite you to join Calgary's first Beach Volleyball Ladder.
Quick Sand Volleyball Description
Our mission is to promote the growing sport of beach volleyball in Calgary. Whether you're interested in rounding your skills for indoor or winning a beach national championship, come out for some new friends and some fun in the sun! Don't miss this chance to train with NCAA and CIS athletes! The league will run ladder style, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 to 2. The top 16 teams (32 girls) will compete from 12 to 1. The following 16 teams will compete from 1 to 2pm. The teams will play three games to 21. At the end of each day the winning player will move one spot up. Session 1 will begin June 30th to July 23rd. The following session with run July 27th to August 20th. The individual cost for four weeks of league play will be $80 (plus gst). A pre-season 3 week session for $60 (plus gst) will begin June 16th to June 25th. Don’t worry if you aren't one of the first 64 athletes to register, you can sign up on the sub list for a drop in rate of $15(plus gst) a game. Get sunscreened up because life’s better at the beach!
