Wanting to learn paper piecing? Join us the third Wednesday of the month for your choice of paper pieced projects from Border Creek Station. The Snowflake Quilt finishes 90" x 90" while Captain Brodie's Brigade 57" x 74".
This Sew Along is done at your own pace so no need to worry if you can't make one of the sewing days or can't join us for the full time. You can be the "Rabbit" and race through the project by working on it during the month at home to ensure you have it done in 6 months. Or, you can be the "Turtle" and only pull the project out once a month when we get together. It's all up to you.
Someone is always available to answer any questions or help you trouble shoot the project.

Make a couch throw using large print/directional fabric for the main body, and 5 standard quilting blocks as the accent in 3 coordinating colours.
This 5-week course will teach the basic techniques needed to complete a 50" x 50" couch throw (no batting in the middle); from cutting to piecing to binding.

Thinking about taking up a new hobby? Just Quilt! We'll be using the Just Quilt pattern to make a 54" x 54" quilt. The 6 weeks of classes will include fabric selection, proper use of tools, tips and techniques for accurate sewing, sandwiching, quilting and binding.
Note that there is a one week break as there is no class on Sunday March 3rd.

Classes are held the last Sunday of every other month - beginning in January 2019.
Each class will feature a different project. Please contact the shop at 587-521-6220 for specific details.

Join us for our weekly Sip 'n Sew Thursdays. They are the perfect opportunity for working on your UFO's, or any other quilt project you have in mind. Coffee and tea are available as is bottled water.
