Great place for East Indian food... Customer service is good which is a pleasant surprise!! Food quaily is great ... We ordered Butter chicken, Malai Kofta and biryani .all the items were great.. $$ friendly as well.

The food was good but the waiter seemed a bit lost. He gave us the naans well before the dishes arrived and the breads were left cold and chewy. Great food but need better service.

After reading so many negative reviews I was hesitant to come here but my own experience was quite positive. The service was quite good with the servers checking in on us frequently and the food was excellent. It didn't take a long time at all. I'd say it's the best Hakka I've had in YYC. My suggestion is to not wait at the front for service and to walk into the restaurant, make your presence known and take a seat. You won't be forgotten. Thank you Rasoi - I'll be back for sure.

Very bad service. Had ordered appitizer, took 45 minutes and still served uncooked. Guess how long it will take for main course. Only 4 table were occupied at that time. A family who was known to the restaurant's owner came after us for dine in like others. they served 3 full chicken appetizer to them before us, when I asked the reason said they have ordered it first means over the phone for dine in. It was my wife's birthday but couldn't have thought it would the worst experience at this place. Not recommendable at all.

Clean and nice atmosphere. The food is pretty good to. The only problem is the horrible service. We got our appetizers in two seperate parts, one right away and one a.minute before the rest of the food. We had to remind them to get the drinks we ordered 3 times and after we had eaten everything. They chose to give us the drinks we had asked for more than an hour ago.

VERY DISAPPOINTED...

I had a groupon which was still valid for next 1 month. I tried to redeem it but the New Owner/Manager of restaurant refused to accept it and said the owner has changed but they still operate the restaurant under same old name. Not satisfied. Now I am not sure what to do with Groupon which I bought.

The management and the chef have changed. They are from Lajawab now. The chana batura is awesome.

I visited this restaurant today and was surprised at the level of service I received. I honestly think I found my new favourite Indian restaurant.

Great service and delicious food. Will recommend everyone to go there.
Prices are not that bad. Will be going there again.
Great place to celebrate any occasion, there was 15 of us and we didnt have to pay gratitude which i like as most restaurants charge for that.
