We stopped in at RawBar with no reservations and were seated immediately:). We sat outside, around the swimming pool which was lovely!
We ordered the 'Chefs Plate' (maybe not called that) $35 per person, seven course meal. Steamed pork buns, grilled watermelon salad, tuna and salmon tartare... Each one tastier than the last! Grilled steak, perfectly cooked shrimp and bokchoy and broccolini with peanuts.
To. Die. For.
Will be returning:) might order three chefs plates for the two of us:)
The Raw Bar is excellent. It's a good atmosphere, the food is incredible, the process are reasonable, and our server was excellent! I highly recommend the maple ginger black cod!
Not one bad thing to say, a perfect dinning experience.
Great food, wonderful taste packed into the dishes.
Will definitely go again!! Friday eve we had a few shareable's outside by the pool & on Sat eve we ate inside.
Amazing food & the presentation was almost too pretty to eat �
Visited the restaurant on a number of occasions during my holiday in Calgary and found the food lovely. The decor and ambience in the restaurant matches the food. As a hotel restaurant/ bar area it has everything although some afternoons it appears the Raw bar pool area is a regular gathering spot for locals. Usually an advert for a restaurant but on this occasion the guys and girls ended up arguing not really what I was expecting but staff in the reception area informed us it wasn’t a one off so be warned it can be lively.
