Rbc Royal Bank

I made an appointment to open an account with them, as I was dissatisfied with my current bank. The appointment went very well, they were very helpful and made me feel like they valued me as a client. It was the best banking experience I have had.

Very courteous staff, always very helpful.
Even to explain to me how to set my online banking; they explained to me every advantages and payments options. It's been 18 years I hold my mortgage there and never had an issue.

People there are very and are able to solve your banking problems quickly and efficiently. They also offer advice on how to save your money.

Too bad I have to give them 1 star. Should be zero. Talked to rbc on the phone about locked in mutual funds. They set me up with an appt at shawnessy location. Showed up, made me wait for 20 min at a 6pm appt time. Sat down with a guy, about to start conversation when we were interrupted by another rbc employee begging my guy to help him with something. He insisted on helping me, then when I finally said what I wanted to do. He said there isn't any possible way he has the power to do that. And that his manager is strict about it. Why couldn't I find this out over the phone when I made the appt? Then waited 2 days for the appt. Then waited 20 extra mins in lobby and interruptions to find out in 60 seconds in wasted all my time and it was not possible.

RBC SHAWNESSY ... promise me a free iPad will get 6-8week ... it is 6months now until now i didnt receive my free ipad... shame on you.... I closed my account immediately... wasting time...

Terrible. Teller cared more about visiting with coworkers than paying attention to what I needed. Had to repeat myself several times to her and she acted like it was an inconvenience to do her job. Been with RBC for almost 15 years and this is the worst experience I've ever had at one of their branches. Most unprofessional bank managers or whatever they were too. Just standing around loudly socializing and distracting the teller that was 'helping' me. Never again. Thank God Bridlewood branch is nearby and they are MUCH nicer than these clowns at this location.
