Rbc Royal Bank

I am very disappointed RBC closed this branch on November 3, 2017. It was extremely convenient, plus in a great affluent neighbourhood. This use to be a former Royal Trust branch which was converted to RBC Royal Bank in the 1990s. As a result, RBC's departure from Lake Bonavista only leaves TD Bank.

I am shaking my head, as Lake Bonavista/Lake Bonaventure are upscale/affluent neighbourhoods. I would not be surprised if many now former RBC Lake Bonavista upscale clients simply switch their banking / investments to TD Lake Bonavista instead. I cannot see many former RBC Lake Bonavista clients wanting to jump in their cars, drive down Bow Bottom Trail to do their banking 5km away at RBC Deer Run, especially since most Lake Bonavista residents can do all of their other errands at the Lake Bonavista Shopping Centre. With RBC Lake Bonavista closing, even CIBC and Scotiabank in Southcentre plus TD Willow Park are now closer than RBC Deer Run.

Every time I go into this bank they're understaffed and underwhelming in their service skills. In a time crunch or need something handled efficiently? Choose another branch.
