Absolutely pittyful branch manager EDDY was arrogant and judgemental wouldn't cash my work check even after swiping my bank card /pin and showing ID

and repeatedly answeredsecurity question the. Threatened me with closing my account and call police after u told him I wanted to speak to a superior I was the.n told he is"the man " while he pounded his chest and he will not not serve me I believe this man is a terrible representative of the rbc name and should be reprimanded

No matter when I come to this place it is alway painfully slow if you need a teller. Seems like they are understaffed or just have no sense of customer service. When you have a huge line and only 2 tellers working and no one else helping its not good. Even when there is a huge line tellers put up the next teller sign. When you see so many people in line you should try to process the customer before going in lunch. Also a simple deposit takes a long time which leads me to thing tellers are slow as hell here. Will be looking at changing banks.

Opened a new account due to horrible customer service with our previous bank. Signed up for a promotion to receive a iPad while opening the account. It's been 2 years and still no iPad and no one seemed to do anything about it.

Opened it joint, my card stopped working and when I went in the teller advised me I had no access to my own accounts as it was not joint but soley under my partners name. I was present when we set it up and that was not how the conversation went. After major inconvenience and not being able to use my card or access money until my partner corrected this my online login continued to work but all accounts displayed N/A online.

Attempted to resolve these issues, fixed for a few days and then it reverted to how it was, I was told once again I didn't have any access as it was not MY accoint. After yet another trip to the bank to fix it. No resolve, abandoned the account, No iPad and no one seemed to care about following up or resolving the issue.

Highly recommend that if you are considering an RBC Infinite Avion Visa for being top rated and for protection, to consider other options - such as American Express.

We made a purchase on Ticketmaster.ca and were somehow redirected to a re-sale website, without our knowledge. It was not evident it was redirected, we simply clicked on the seats we wanted and it went directly to a page to input credit card information.

The time it was noticed our tickets were not through Ticketmaster.ca was when we received the confirmation email. In addition, the third party website (onlinecitytickets) has very different Terms and Conditions than Ticketmaster. Examples being: there are no cancellations and the prices are in USD. Ticketmaster.ca allows for cancellations and charges CDN dollars for Canadian based concerts.

We have phoned Ticketmaster and they confirmed onlinecitytickets it is not a re-sale company they are affiliated with. The agent indicated that "somehow they were able to link to the Ticketmaster website"

The resale company does not allow any contact by phone, all the responses are automated, with no option to speak to an agent.

RBC has indicated, even when escalated, there is absolutely nothing they are willing to do. The very same situation happened to colleague and Amercian Express reversed the charged immediately based on a "bait and switch".

Terrible Customer service, worst bank I have been to in my entire life... Looooooooong lines. Do not waste your time. RBC SHAME ON YOU.

Thanks to 130 Avenue branch. I left Riverbend branch and came here and found the service 10 times better. Riverbend did not have sufficient staff to deal with customers. Here they are just as busy, but have staff to accomodate the demand, even the assistant branch manager came out to help.

The staff were very pleasant to deal with. A person greeted me at the door and asked how she could help. Directed me to a teller and they were personable and polite.

Do Not Go To This Branch. Lost $1420 of my money! I deposited 2 cheques and $1420 cash into their ATM and 8 days later I get an letter saying that they only received the 2 cheques and that the money is being taken out of my accounts. Now I have NSF fees to worry about and will be behind on my payments. This is the second time I've been to this branch and they screwed it up this badly. Customer Support says they will do an investigation and that they won't charge me this time. Why would the bank charge me for losing my money? I have been with RBC for 13 years. I will revise this when it has been "investigated" but do not go to this branch.
