Even though Robert & I did not know Jordan personally, we know his family, especially John who was a beloved student of ours. Our heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathies to the Moore family during this time. May the Lord give you strength to get through this.

So apparently both Robert & myself think that this would be the best piece of equipment to have installed! We would probably have a line up of people waiting to use it! What a great way to get people excited about working out. :)

Our 2018-19 Homeschool Class is now FULL! What a fantastic start to our year with a great bunch of kids (two of which are MIA from the photo).

An encouraging and inspirational individual. This will most definitely be Sensei Rob down the road.

RDW Martial Arts ran a homeschool program over 12 years ago, took a break, and now we're back at it with Roots Homeschool being the first ones back on board! Had a very successful year and are looking forward to 2018-19!

RDW BBQ Day w/ Master Chef Allemeier!
It was a perfect day to spend learning how to BBQ (or should I say grilling) with our very own student, Master Chef Allemeier! Spending the entire day learning some culinary skills, enjoying the sunshine with friends, and eating food that I didn't know could taste so good!
An amazing day! Thank you to the entire Allemeier family, and our other student, Gavin, who came up with the idea. Looking forward to many more RDW social gatherings.

I saw this and sooooo many names came to mind. Rondeana, Janine, Wendy, Michelle, Melissa, Meredith, Mike, Jo......and on and on it goes.
All in the name of fitness, right?!

FIRST DAY OF CLASS! WO-HOO!!

WOMEN IN MARTIAL ARTS. This amazing lady shows all of us how martial arts training isn't just about having (or really needing) to do crazy kicks, flips or 'Jackie Chan' moves. It's about building your self confidence and fitness level to do whatever you need to at any given time.

WE DID IT!! RDW is officially on the move to a brand new facility that will be owned by us!! Still located in the NW but easily accessible to the SW communities. More details coming soon.
Right now both Robert and I would like to extend the biggest heartfelt thank you to those students who came to load us up and get us the heck out of dodge.
It was a fantastic day for us on many levels. We had so many people offer to help that we actually turned a lot of people away. The... move went without a hitch. Our biggest cheerleader, Orlando, should have an honorary 'golden key to RDW' simply because he's been ready to personally move us out for many, MANY years. He's been our biggest champion. And we got to meet a new face! Pat, even though we didn't know you beforehand, we are truly thankful for your help and the opportunity to get to know you in between hauls. LOL. Awesome, awesome people.
But most of all it was so incredible to see our community of families come together for us. It has been a stressful 2 years, and we still have a ways to go, but this day was nothing short of joyful.
Orlando, you will be the first one to come and see the place, just so you know.

Every life is precious.
I had the privilege of working with a child once who had DS @ RDW (came in to do a class with his sister one time). It was truly the most joyful experience I have ever had. These kids/adults with DS EXUDE a type of joy and love that is truly indescribable....and unconditional.

We were just informed of an incident with one of our students.
Today Mason P. had a knife pulled on him at school (G10). According to his dad he 'blocked it, shoved the kid away, walked away with small cut on his pinkie'. The family credits his martial arts training over the years in being able to defend himself quickly, and remove himself from the situation.
Mason, we are so incredibly proud of you, and VERY glad that you are ok!
