We were introduced to the Strider brand of balance bikes when we started shopping for balance bikes for our boy /girl twins' 2nd birthday. After spending countless hours researching, shopping around, and trying other options, we knew we would be purchasing Striders as soon as they got on them - and we did!

The 'lightness' (6. 4lbs), low starting seat height, and easy quick clamp seat /handle bar adjusters were what initially drew us to the bikes.

Since then, we have grown to love other features as well! The range of seat height (11"-16" . . . plus XL seat post option - up to 19"), low centre of gravity, and puncture-proof tires are some of our favourites.
