Good prices but they often are missing stock on certain items for weeks at a time. And advertise double GST off sales on most items on store but it is false advertising. Virtually nothing is 10% off. Gas station windshield washer tools haven't been changed since store opened years ago so they are awful

If u donot have handicap pass and u have difficulty getting around it is difficult to find parking at resonable dostance.online and handicap have killed all parkings. It is good store but needs good merchandisers.

One of the cheapest stores in Calgary and I guess it’s better than Walmart. There are variety of groceries, cosmetics, pharmacy and free points. Easy access for people with disabilities and there are a lot of parking spaces available for them.

Good selection of food and some home stuff at affordable prices. Customer service is there to help with any issue. I am always left satisfied by them.

Really big, with nice wide aisles. Easy to run around with a basket and get your groceries quick and painlessly.

Parking lot is awful though.

Great place to shop. Love the wide variety of fruits and vegetables. It sucks that many times I dont have change for a cart though. They should eliminate that.

I've stopped purchasing fresh produce or dairy here since the last gallon of milk went bad a week before its 'best before' date, and the berries molded overnight. The produce has a tendency to rot because it's low quality in order to be low priced.

There is an extensive selection of Asian and Indian foodstuffs, so if you don't have time to go to T&T or Punjabi market you can probably find what you need here.

I still shop here for canned and processed foods because the prices are quite cheap, though Co-op and Safeway offer the same prices through sales.

It's a huge store so there is lots of choice in every aisle. There is a pharmacy, vision centre, fresh fish centre, bakery (with free cookies for kids age 12 and under), Joe Fresh clothing boutique, toy section, and housewares section.

Great place, things were organized better than other superstores. Great customer services. Store looks nice and clean.
I reduced one star because parking seems too tight and narrow.

This store always has everything that I need. The staff is very helpful. Especially Andrew in produce. He is amazing! Always super helpful and knowledgeable, he will go several extra miles to help. The cash lines are quick without you feeling pressured. This is my favorite and now only Superstore!

I like this superstore better than others. More stock. They usually get shipments twice a day.

User

I usually don't make a huge deal of stuff like this. Actually I usually won't say anything and just let it go when something like this happens. As long as, there is a bit of recognition of wrong doing and an apology. However, I just can't get over how poorly and unprofessionally this was handled. So here is my review of Country Hills, Real Canadian Superstore.

So I will never Order Online or shop at the Country Hills Superstore EVER again.

I went and picked up my online order yesterday, got home and got about 3/4 of it unpacked before realizing I was missing a good portion of my order...

I call them, and they find that they forgot to bring half of it out to my car, and it was still sitting there..... I let them know that I am not really close by, in fact I am in Bowness. He says "Oh, well that sucks, sorry." I asked if they are going to compensate me in some way for such an inconvenience? He say's "Uh? Uh? I guess I could ask my manager?" I said "Sure please do that! Let me know what they say when I get back up there, be there in 20 mins."

I get there. There are 2 other vehicles waiting for their groceries. I call to let them know that I am there. The girl say's "Oh yes, we will be right out with your order." So I am thinking, well, at least it doesn't sound like they are going to make me wait for these other 2 orders before they serve me. Well I was wrong about that! Both cars were served before me?%^&*&?? And she even had my groceries on her cart when she served the second car, however still chose to serve them first! If you know anything about customer service, you know this is wrong!....

So when the lady, (who might I mention was not who brought my order out the first time, or the Manager,) finally came to my car. I patiently waited for her to #1. Apologize for such an inconvenience. And #2. Tell me what the manager had to say about it. But no, she just loads my groceries and says nothing. So realizing she was going to totally avoid what had happened, I asked her if the manager had said how they would be compensating me for such an inconvenience?

With a bit of a attitude (which was my last straw) she said "Oh ya, she said that we will waive the fee for pick up next time." I was like, "Oh really! 3.00? So you will give me $3.00 for having to take another 30 mins out of my day and 20 km to drive from Bowness back here and back to Bowness and all because someone couldn't double check that their order was right before sending it home with me? Or in other words do their job! Actually no that's bullshit! I'm sorry but $3.00 doesn't even cover my gas! Never mind my time."
She was like "Ya." And started walking back into the store. I thought about going into the store to find the manager but I was so mad at that point it was best i just left.

Customer Service 101

My groceries should have been brought out to me immediately and I should have been served before the other 2 vehicles.

The person bringing out my groceries should have given recognition of wrong doing instead of completely avoiding me and when confronted using the stern act on me.

There should have been an apology.

If the manager really was serious in offering me a $3.00 compensation. He/she should have come and done it themselves and apologized for my inconvenience, themselves. You would have to know that it would be a total insult to your customer to offer them $3.00. If you don't, you shouldn't be a manager!

Knowing I left so heated, the Manager should have contacted me after the fact to find out why I was so angry and frustrated.

Looks like my $300 weekly grocery order will be bought at Walmart from now on.

I've only been to the one at westhills but I prefer this store. Clean and on a Monday daytime not as busy.
