This is an awesome place. Great place to go and clear your head. Just to be there and see all the rocks etc. You can spend a whole day there, and just admire the scenery. It's a must to go to place.

Ancient shoreline facies. Both marine and terrestrial deposits and fossils. Late Cretaceous age.

This is an amazing place for taking pictures that look like you visited Mars. Large red volcanic boulders make a great photo opp, try positioning a friend or family member on top.

A place like no other. Good road access to a unique landscape.

An area that is definitely in my top 5 places that made me go WOW! Found a couple of old Native American arrow heads way up the far end of the valley. Apparently the stones are spherical because they were underneath a Glacier and were ground to this shape by the flow of the Glacier during the Ice Age. When the ice receded, the rocks were left where they now sit millions of years later. AWESOME!
