I have had to use this registry a couple times now. There is a liar that works for the Alberta health portion, tried to cheat me out of money when I didn't have to pay anything. And they are extremely slow, stood in line for 1.5 hours one day to register a car.

I recommend avoiding this registry. I won't be going back despite the convenient location. The last straw was when I went in for a drivers abstract release on behalf of a friend that has check boxes consenting release for 3, 5, and 10 year. He had checked all 3 boxes as it didn't matter which he received and the form specifically stated that each box indicated consent to release. Service Alberta's documentation also specifically says that the options are 3, 5, OR 10 year. Despite this the clerk and manager insisted that if all 3 were checked, then I could only purchase all 3 and would not acknowledge that this made no sense, as the 10 year contains all the information the other two provide. I purchased all 3 anyway due to the time constraint and they mistakenly didn't even provide the 5 and 10 year. I was able to get a refund after calling 3 times and returning twice but the hypocrisy of that seemed lost on them as well.

A strange rule being in place that they have to abide by is one thing, but they didn't show me any rules prohibiting the sale of 1 abstract using a form that had consent release for 3. It seems like a silly judgement call that they took it upon themselves to make instead of written rules they had to follow. With attitudes like that, it wastes more time than just going somewhere a bit further.

Large lineup at 10am, but it moves quickly. I believe that the folks here are doing great. It can be a challenge when dealing with so many folks so quickly, one simply can't please them all. Better than the Shawnessy registry imho.

Always top notch customer service from Jenn when I go in for any changes at all. She’s very knowledgeable, efficient and an absolute pleasure to deal with. If you’re going in at the beginning or the end of a month, expect a line up. There’s nothing the staff can do when everyone rushes in in a panic without all the proper documentation with them. Kudos to all the staff, customer service jobs are often under appreciated! Thanks again Jenn!

Always had a good and friendly experience with the staff at this registry. It is a shame that the person who left the review before me had such a bad experience with Aline while doing their test. I sat my class 5 basic test yesterday with Aline. She was a few minutes late but as soon as she arrived we went out. I had a pleasant experience with her. She gave clear instructions and we had a bit of casual conversation. I did get two mistakes and she explained clearly what they were. I passed my road test with her. I would advise booking the road test for early morning as often the parking lot gets busy and the 4way can be a nightmare. With my test being in the morning, it wasn't a problem.

I had a difficult situation that had me in and out of several Registry agencies in the city. In the end, due to an error in the government database, it was easy to just send me around in a circle of workflow. When I came to South Trail Crossing, the experience and tenacity of Jenn was a blessing. She was able to dig into the root issue of the file and even proceeded to call the government to clarify. Her professional attitude was much appreciated and thank you for solving the problem.

I had visited South trial registry a few days ago and I realised that I do need to put a review about my experience.

We just moved to Calgary from Australia and visited this registry to apply for our health card and also for our drivers license.Being a new comer to this country we were WOWED by the customer service and friendliness by this particular registry staffs especially JENN in the counter has gone that EXTRA MILE to assist us and also she made sure that we have been looked after.

I definitely would recommend this registry to anyone especially if you are looking for a bit of customer service and friendliness.

Fantastic!!! Monday morning, I came in to update my address... Greeted immediately by a very personable, and remarkably professional young lady. She not only helped with my new address, she also helped me to update my health care, as well as offering to help with other aspects of my life regarding all things registries... Wow, seriously. They are helpful and try and assist you even when you are missing something. Very patient! Registry offices is the past have been rude and seem to think they are not in the business of customer service which they are. Been going here for years and will continue to go to this location.
