Prices seem good to slightly better then other hard ware stores. Seem to have more selection on some items

Seems well staffed but no one offered to help. An item had two different prices listed and the staff initially didn’t want to honour the lower price saying that the old price was due to come down, but it hadn’t been done yet. Eventually honoured the price, but had to wait over 10 minutes for this to be sorted out. Really helpful cashier who completely saw where we were coming from and was very kind.
Otherwise products seemed well priced.

I have never seen so many stop signs in front of a store. I understand it's for the safety of their customers because of the blind spots from those giant pillars but it's quite annoying and ridiculous driving through there. Here's some suggestions.

1. Have designated crosswalks that are easily visible like flashing lights when customers want to cross instead of vehicles stopping for no reason.
2. Make the sidewalk bigger or change the traffic pattern to eliminate the blind spots. For example, don't have the road so close to the front of the store!!

Other than the stop signs, it's a pretty good place to shop.

The front line staff there are nice, but management needs some serious improvement. When an identical item was offered at a competitor, I requested a price match plus 15% off as per policy. The cashier was only able to price match, but not offer the 15% as the manager won't approve it. The cashier was very polite and apologetic about it, but the price match policy is very misleading. If you read the fine print, it has to be offered on a flyer (a competitor webpage does not qualify). Also, there only have ONE cashier open for the entire store on a busy summer weekend afternoon, wait times can be 10-15 minutes to pay.

Ever find yourself looking for something specific or unique for the house but you see the same items in every store you go to? The main reason I like Reno Depot is because they carry items and brands that are often different from everyone else. This store has most of what a homeowner needs and they have good sale prices on items that I actually use. Service is good.

Really frustrated. I recently moved to town and was excited when I saw that there was a hardware store so close to home as we are doing renovations on the new place. Before that, we needed keys cut. 2 days ago I took our key to get 2 more, when I took them home they didn't work so I took them back and they re-did them. Not a big deal, i didn't think much of it. Then today I took our key to go get another cut, keep in mind that this is the exact same key that they cut 2 days prior. I should have checked the key before I left the store because the one they cut was no where close to the original, obviously it didn't work. I went back. The same guy cut the second key and I went home. Didn't work. By this time I was frustrated because this simple thing that should take me 5 minutes is now taking over my morning. I went back again, this time the manager cut the key. I explained to him the problem and he proceeded to tell me that it was the lock and not the key. That this was a "perfect cut". How does the key that they cut 2 days prior work perfectly but this one doesn't? It's not the lock. So extremely frustrated I go home and surprise surprise. It doesn't work. The same manager that cut my previous WORKING key is now telling me that the second key he cut isn't working because of the lock. Ridiculous. Anyways, they couldn't even do the simplest job in the store with common courtesy. But instead reacted with arrogance and stupidity.

They totally went out of there way to help me find the right tint for my flower pots. But more so let me bring my 7 month old puppy in the store and everyone stopped to greet her. I called Home Depot and they said absolutely not allowed in store...but online it says you can...or call store to ask. So I took my business to Reno Depot instead and I'm glad I did!! 😀

This is my go-to place for building materials now. Although I find a bit more care and attention is required while selecting wood, I have always found what I need. The fact that lumber is typically 20% cheaper than Home Depot is what keeps me coming back. Plus, it's a Canadian company.
