DID YOU KNOW? The Dive Tank holds 1,998,697 litres of water! That takes a while to drain, let alone fill up when we're all done.

always a fun time
This gym is awesome and has something for everyone. I love having unlimited access to spin classes, multiple swimming pools, an abundance of machines and free weights, as well as yoga and pilates classes (and a recent addition of HOT YOGA classes).
Great bang for your buck, and the staff and instructors are so friendly and knowledgeable.
This facility is absolutely spectacular, has great swimming pools, weight lifting equipment and nice music to listen too if you forgot to bring your Ipod. The Talisman Centre is the only place you'll find me other then my house or work. well deserved 5/5 and would recommend to the shredded community.
This facility is a true gem! First class aquatic facility where the entire family swims and plays Waterpolo. It offers and incredible range of fitness classes (spin, metabolic training, yoga, and more) and the staff is very friendly and helpful!
This facility deserves a full 6 out of 5!!!
Ample parking and dual entrances keep vehicular and foot traffic to a minimum. The humidity from the open pool helps make the Talisman Centre feel humid and almost tropical, a perfect contrast for Calgary dry climate. The pool may be busy at times, but it always has lanes for free swimming and you can always call a day ahead with knowledgeable staff informing whether there is an event happening.
The large facility houses so much fitness equipment its hard to not find something you cant enjoy doing. I enjoy being able to ask the downstairs staff for workouts and if my form/posture is right. If I cant find a single workout to do I can just look at wide selection of group fitness classes upon entering such as Get Ripped, Boot Camp, Group Power, Kickboxing and Yoga. The fitness classes are a always a welcoming sight when you just want to exercise without heavy thinking of what to do for the hour.
The floors and rooms are kept very clean thanks to the friendly custodial. The atmosphere feels competitive and positive compared to other gyms.
There's no other gym like Repsol SC, this facility offers premium fitness and aquatic equipment. I haven't seen any other facility with everything under the same roof. I just love it
The facilities are wonderful and so vast. They have such a variety of equipment and that includes some for those with reduced mobility issues. The Steam room and hot pools as well. Not to mention yoga and other programs that are all included in membership. I highly recommend every one to check them out. (Once they reopen, that is)
The best gym in Calgary....
Reasonably priced and fit for an olympic athlete.
My second home! Great variety of friendly people and the staff is decent and accomodating too.
Amazing sports facility and great customer service!
Always a great spectrum of skill set, abilities, people, equipment and really knowledgeable staff. Add that huge dome with that just right humidity, it's a pleasant place to be. Once I walk in I get more motivate by the step.
Far and wide, the best play ground in the city and they keep it very affordable on their monthly rates.
See you there!
Absolutely the best facility in Calgary great stuff you never feel like your just a number. I've been using this facility for about 7 years since my daughter was just a little baby she feels like this is our second home she swims here and hopefully one day she will work out of here absolutely best facility in Calgary without a doubt.
Spent many hours watching my daughter swim at competitions there. Great facilities! Olympic size pool, dive pool, warm up/cool down pool, running track, and so much more.
Good facility and always in use which speaks to it's quality.
The weight room needs stronger bars however. Regular gym bars are fine for most, but access to a couple of stronger powerlifting bars would be nice.
It's the premier sports centre in Calgary. The change rooms need major renovations and expansion. Way too small, dirty, not enough urinals, sinks suck and showers are way too hot. I actually preferred the old changeroom prior to the renovations a few years ago.
Besides the change rooms it's a pretty decent facility my only other complaints would be that the cardio equipment is always full and the hot tub is cool.
Thanks for fixing the steam room. Nice and hot in there now.
I happily cancelled my spring and summer lessons, and went somewhere else, after they denied my husband's request of refund when he bought 10-pass card, specificly so he can run in the tracks while I do my lesson. He bought the card, went inside to find both tracks closed, went right back outside to request a refund. Not only did they say no, but when he asked to speak to a manager, was told the only thing they can do is ask him to leave!!! They gave him a customer service team coordinator business card. We have called several times, left voice mails, and got no response.
Update: (From one star to three) Thought I would update this old review, a customer service manager did give us a call, made things right, and promised to look into why we were never appropriately called back, I appreciate that and wish it didn't have to take negative reviews to get a call back, but was pleased with how they handled it eventually.
Great facility and great staff; problem is card scanner-it keeps scanning multiple times for the same entry. Other gyms have scanner systems that will scan only once or use a swipe entry. Repsol's scanning system makes it difficult for people like myself with neurological conditions. I'd love to continue training regularly at Repsol but until the scanning system is changed I'm at another gym.
The water in shower is extremely hot. Customer service gets tons of complains, and when you ask when it’s gonna be fixed - each of them has a different story. Seems like nobody’s doing anything. Apart from that good facility.
I will never recommend this place to anyone! After being a member for the last five years, they stopped allowing to use a local telephone!
I, for example, do not use a cell phone and every time I need to call home (withing Calgary), I get stuck feeling isolated in this center. Reception does not provide this service any longer.
For comparison, every other even tiny business in the city gives a chance to make a local phone.
IT IS SUCH A BIG SHAME for such a big place :-((
