A little history. (‘her’story actually)

The idea for Rescue Flats was born where our products shine (literally and figuratively). On the dance floor, at a wedding reception. Mine to be exact.

By the ‘far-too-early’ hour of 10: 00 pm, the dance floor was beginning to take its toll on my high-heeled female friends and guests. As I watched many a celebrant limp to the sidelines, it dawned on me – what if these usually-relentless revelers could simply slip into something more comfortable and reclaim their rightful place - dancing ‘til dawn?

The rest, as they say, is ‘herstory’.

We sold our first box of Rescue Flats in 2013, and since then have been part of everything from Tango to Fandango at over 700 weddings. And because we know all too well just how stressful planning a wedding can be, we’ve gone well above and beyond the call to ensure that every aspect of the Rescue Flats experience is flat-out easy – and simply stress free. From selecting the perfect flats to setting up the beautiful display box on your big day.

And, of course, we’re constantly looking for ways to make the Rescue Flats experience even better – which is why we love to hear from brides anytime – before, after, and even during – their most unforgettable (and best) day and night ever.
