We believe that fostering collaboration benefits our industry as we explore ways to produce wells better. Last year, we combined research efforts with Canadian Natural Resources Limited to investigate the effects of sand control on remedial tubing-deployed scab liners in thermal production. We presented the paper at the Society of Petroleum Engineers Thermal Well Integrity and Design Symposium in November and are proud of the results. We look forward to working with our industry partners both new and old this year.

At proLAB™ we design and recommend optimized sand control solutions to maximize oil production comparing tests from multiple sand control screens and flow rates with our historical database and in-house design software. This time of year is always special here at RGL. Last weekend, Santa made a special trip to Leduc to visit with over 100 children and RGL staffers. We had a blast!

This year, RGL staff raised $1,870 for the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation. Our social committee planned raffles and other drives at the RGL annual golf tournament and holiday party. Funds will help provide people, programs, equipment, and research to advance children’s health care. Thank you to all our generous staff!
