CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AS A NOT-FOR-PROFITRift Leaders is a business management consulting firm unlike any other. For starters, we are a not-for-profit organization. What does this mean? We operate similarly to our for-profit competitors but instead of the company's earnings going to shareholders or executives through bonuses, they are used make significant industry improvements. For example, our profits are used to fund pro bono work. We offer our full services, free of charge, to selected small firms who are unable to afford these services. Many of these small firms are contractors or suppliers to our larger clients. This approach is our way of helping to improve the standards at all levels across an entire sector. Our profits are also used to fund environmental, health, safety, sustainability, and educational initiatives that strive for tangible progress. MISSION AND VISIONOur mission is clear. Rift Leaders was created to improve the environmental, health, and safety conditions of all organizations and drive sustainability initiatives. Our vision is big. We intend to see significant progress by adjusting existing assumptions and ways of doing business that hold organizations back. We consistently push for the achievement of tangible changes. Our not-for-profit structure was chosen to bring some much needed balance back to business and we challenge others to demonstrate an equal commitment to social justice in their own way.
