Riley Park Maternity Clinic

When I went there just under two years ago, the reception staff were really nice and the wait times were decent. Got back to me a lot quicker than the one in the NE. I didn't mind weighing myself, because the less people who knew, the better. Yes, you take a gamble with what doctor you get because of the rotation, but you can sometimes request to book an appointment with the same one for your next one, depending on the situation. The nurses/trainee doctors were also efficient at their jobs.

Clinic visits were mostly good. Once babytime comes be prepared for the best experience of your life to become the worst.
I am making it my mission to steer everyone that I know away from this clinic and your "c's get degrees" doctors.

Love all the doctors here and rarely wait longer than 10 minutes for my appointment. Their follow up is quick.

I am unsure as to why this clinic has such a low rating. They were fast, and thorough and answered all my questions. A much better clinic than the NE maternity location, that's for sure!

I have been going to grace medical at Riley Park and have had nothing but bad experience after bad experience. I have waited over an hour on three occasions. Have had several fairly terrible doctors with fairly shameful bedside manner. Would highly recommend going elsewhere.

Receptionists ask you to do their job for them. (Ie. Filling out paperwork, running paperwork from the examination rooms to front desk, weigh yourself and write in on their paperwork ,telling them which clinic you are there to see - since apparently they run multiple clinics using the same receptionist)
The Doctors here are NOT obstetricians.
The Doctor you come here to see will not likely be the doctor with you in the delivery room, in fact every appointment may be with a different one of their 17 doctors.
Our 30 minute appointment became a 2 hour appointment and I had to run out to feed the parking meter - twice. (Parking is NOT validated by the way)
Hours of operation are incredibly inconvenient for anyone working full time.
They say they are open 8am-430pm everyday. yet the receptionist refuses to book us during the end of the day since "the doctors like to leave as early as possible, especially on fridays, so I book everything for earlier in the day". We tried to book an appointment for Friday at 3:30 pm for a 30 minute appointment. The receptionist told us she starts booking for 1pm and will only book consecutively from that point as the appointments come up. She told us she does this so the doctors can leave work early. She told us we can call back later and *maybe* move the appointment if more people booked for that Friday (and she didn't reserve the time slot for us so the likelihood of us getting the time we need is slim)

So *WE* have to take a day off work and your doctors get to leave early.
This is NOT an acceptable way to treat a customer LET ALONE A PREGNANT WOMAN.
We were treated like a piece of garbage.

This is everything that's wrong with Canadian Health Care.

We have found the care Reily Park very poor. The doctors rotate weekly and seem to be a little disconnected. You have to repeated yourself constantly if you want them to pay attention to anything. This is not the kind of care you want when you are pregnant. In fact, we will switch care and not take our child there because it has been a rather stressful experience.

Clinic staff are ok but reception will never answer there phone had a emergency yesterday and called and called and called and no answer finally called the clinic on the other side of them they said they would leave a message 4 hours later they call me back!!!!!!
