Riverstone Pub

Went there for a birthday after party. Was pleasantly surprised by the live band and huge selection of chicken wings.

A great neighborhood pub. The past 4 years I've been coming here regularly and they've updated their menu 3 times with new and better options. For those gluten allergies they do have a big gf list of choices which is rare for a local neighborhood pub. Live music on weekends and a great pool/games room.

Used to be an awesome neighborhood pub - always lots of regulars & friendly familiar faces. New owners are changing things up as any new owners would but they have misjudged what made the pub great. New waitresses are not friendly AT ALL. However, food is actually better. Creepy kitchen manager should stay in the kitchen instead of drooling over pretty blond bartender all day long. It's nauseating to everyone at the bar. New bar manager is nice enough but condescending to clientele. So is the new owner. Wish them well but just because they previously managed a bar doesn't mean they will succeed at this location. Not sure all those new flavors of wings are enough to make people overlook the unfriendly staff & lack of customer appreciation The old management is really a tough act to follow. Good luck.

Beautiful cozy setting, amazing burgers, the waitress was super busy.. took her a long time to take our order, but after that the food came faster.. nice roaring fireplace in the middle of the building in the winter makes it feel very joyful..

It's my staple in Calgary. Always good food, and good times. Live music on the weekend makes this place lively. Great secluded section with pool tables and dart boards and the ability to have conversation.

I don't know what happened here, but I think the head chef quit and ever since the food has gone downhill. It used to be my favorite place to go, but it's rubbish now.

The waitress took forever and was not friendly, the food took over an hour to be served, when the food finally arrived it was mediocre at best, the band didn't play any songs and the singer thought it was a good idea to do mic checks every ten minutes as he walked over to the microphone and said "heyyyya.... heyyyyyyya" over and over as he wanted to be able to pick up his cheque at the end of night for 'playing' at the pub. The amount I paid for the meal does not represent it's quality.

I miss the old riverstone. I won't be going back any time soon to this depressing, forgettable pub.

The pizza was delicious Vira, the waitress, was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back to the Riverstone again.

Been coming here for 10 years now, and despite the menu changing from time to time, the place has always been awesome. Wait staff are always good and attentive, and the food and drinks are reasonably priced.
