I'm in a business where the opportunity to buy stock can happen at any time of the month: when you are flush with cash at the beginning or rolling quarters near the end. If the opportunity is too good to pass up I just have to create some cash somewhere somehow. Luckily I have a LARGE collection of Gibson guitars and I've borrowed money with them countless times at Rocky Mountain to seal the deal on some stock for my shop. I ONLY use this pawnshop as it is devoid of the air of desperation and dingy overtones found in most pawnshops. There's no piles of drywall mud splattered stilts and finishing tools or stinking snowboard boots and guitars from unknown manufacturers. The stock is clean, contemporary, and comprised of higher end items. There are NO dubious employees making their own side deals and offers when the boss isn't around. And doing business here never has that undercurrent of feeling like you are engaging in an activity on the fringe of society. Long story short: This isn't your cold-hearted, gold tooth-buying, slobby uncle's pawnshop.

Just need some quick money from some stuffs that I had. I brought them in first time and was so surprised with a service here. Staffs are friendly and nice. They gave me a good price for my stuffs too. Store looks really nice and clean.

John and Arlene are great to deal with. I have found great deals on things from jewelry, a camera accessory and a electric wood planer for my husband. Sometimes you want or need something that is expensive but its the best product there, why not find a good quality product second hand. Its worth a stroll through. If you don't see it on the shelf, ask if they have it in the back room.

I have shopped here for years. The owner(s) are very friendly and helpful. I have chatted with him about watches lots, he is quite knowledgeable and has a great selection and always has some really nice pieces on hand to show off. I also got a laptop from them I am still quite happy with. They always seem to have something interesting to look at. Cleanest pawnshop in the city, if you like second hand goods and dealing with nice people this is the shop for you.
