About Rocky River Rats
Rocky River Rats is your go to for river transportation in the Rocky area.
No more trying to find a second vehicle / driver needed .
Join us down at the North Saskatchewan River flats. Hwy 11A. Turn right just after the bridge but before the Husky gas station go 1 km and turn right down to the river flats. We will transport you and your tube to either the Blue Train bridge for a 1. 5 hour ride where you can conquer the 4 point caps on the Brierley Rapids or 752 bridge is a clam relaxing 1 hour float which is great for families with little ones, or people new to the waters. During July and August we will be offering transportation out to Horberg for a 5. 5 hour ride on Saturday and Sunday's.
We will have some tubes, water , sunscreen and water proof phones cases for sale. Pumps will be available to blow up your tube before we leave for our destination.
Charge cords are available for iPhones and Samsung phones.
Suggest bringing paddles and life jackets, hats, and sunglasses( with a strap)
Waivers must be read and signed by everyone that will be riding.
16 + older can sign waiver
15 + younger will need parents signature
13 + younger will need an adult with them to ride.

Rocky River Rats wants to Thank everyone who joined us this year on the river. It was a pleasure to meet each and everyone of you. The tubing part of our business is now closed for the season but we are still open for transfers to all our drop off sites. 752 Bridge, Blue Tressel Bridge, Horburg, Saunders, Nordegg (Foresty Trunk Road) and pick ups in Drayton Valley till the end of Sept. Please don’t forget our vans are chartered for your special events Christmas Parties, Birthdays, hockey games, concerts etc. By calling 403-895-0215. Thank you for an awesome summer.
Looks like today will be out last day open as tomorrow is calling for rain. Come on down and enjoy our $10/ person rates. We will open at 12 today and last set of tubes will leave at 5pm.
As we are coming to an end Sept 3rd we are making sure all our stock is dry and ready for next year.

Good morning tubers
Due to rain and cold temps we will not be open today. Sorry. The Dam is open and river levels are back up to normal running levels.
This is at the blue Train tressel bridge and levels will still drop for another 6.5 hours.
We will be closed today due to low levels on the NSR. The did open the Bighorn Dam at 7am but it will be 12 hours before we see it in Rocky. Yesterday vs this morning
Wednesday Friendsday
As they shut the Bighorn Dam down this morning we will still stay open as long as it is still safe to do so. So glad to see repeat customers 😁
What a gorgeous day to go floating down the river today.
Attention Tubers and River users,
The Bighorn Dam will be conducting their fall leakage test starting Aug 22 at 7am. The stop flow will last for 24 hours and will resume Aug23 rd at 7am. Please stay tuned for our closure date. Once levels are back to normal we will be back open.

We are ready for another hot day today, but will be closing early due to appointments. Last set of tubes to leave at 3pm. To make up for it we will still have Wednesday Friendsday tomorrow and Friday we will stay open late. Last set of tubes will leave at 6pm on Friday 😎

Went with the family recently and loved it! Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Answered any questions, assisted with loading and unloading of our party raft and took a few pics for us to to share! Will definitely use again!!
This was such an amazing, fun, relaxing, enjoyable day today. I will be back again!!
They were very helpful blowing up our floaties, our vehicles were safe while we were on the river, she suggested safest Rapids routes, and oversaw us taking off and landing! It was a wonderful time!
The crew did a great job getting our group of 8 all geared up and ready to float, and the party island was sure fun! Thanks for a great adventure into our summer memories!
Made our canoe trip so much easier ! They picked us up at the end in drayton valley and returned our canoes . All our gear fit perfectly and it was a very affordable convenient option to get back to rocky . Thanks!
