Rona

This place has really slid over the last year. Customer service does not exist. I waited 30 minutes to get someone to help me. I had the front end staff page for assistance and still no luck. Been shopping here for years but this store is really bad and I will not be returning.

Customer service is non existent.
Another customer helped us get our stuff out of the store since it would not fit through the front doors with the carts avalibe in store to move large items, and a lovely empty cardboard box to trip us up while walking out the door.
All the whole staff where literally watching us while picking their nails.

The whole experience has left me dumbfounded

I try to go to Rona first because it's Canadian, but I always have such a bad experience that I always regret it. Three adult employs ignored me while I was next in line to buy lumber as they chatted. It's quite frustrating. The poor service, the attitude of the employs and the lack of quality products is going to be their detriment. I walked out and drove 10 minutes further to Homedepot by Chinook. The contrast is stark.

Home hardware store on the smaller side compared to Lowe's or home depot but priced slightly higher. It is clean and location is convenient.

No not waste a second at this Rona. I've tried to go here on many occasions to find standard and basic items or items that every other Rona carries. It has never worked out. Try the lowes half a block over as they have 100x the stock and variety.

Be careful shopping at the store. I bought 18 cupboard knobs - unfortunately defective wth bad screw thread. I thought, no problem, I will just return them for a refund. Ha! I didn't have a store receipt still so I could only return for store credit. Also I can only return them for the lowest sale price in the time since I bought them - losing about 25% of the purchase price in process. I did have a Visa receipt, but that wasn't good enough. Talked to store clerk and manager and no one was willing to help me get a full refund to my credit card. As I said be careful shopping at the store.

I purchased the wrong sized air filter, but opened the packaging before I realized. They typically don't ruturn open items, but the manager Keilen was kind enough to help me out and exchange for the right one. Very pleased with the service I received.
