When families are away from home they definitely miss their pets. At the House they get to enjoy our pets thanks to our friends from Aquarium Illusions - Having Fun with Fish who create such a happy home for our fish. It’s a race to get downstairs in the morning to see who will be the first House Hero to feed them!

We are absolutely in love with this smile. Wyatt is definitely enjoying his lunch time!

What a beautiful day in Edmonton for an outdoor adventure! Today the kids and their parents explored the University of Alberta Botanic Garden on our weekly field trip.
Where do you think our next field trip will take us?

User

Meals That Mend is a huge part of our programming at the House and we are grateful to every group who makes a meal for our families. We currently have many openings for meals in August, specifically dinners, and we would love to see them filled by members of our community.

Words can't express the gratitude we have for rmh and all the volunteers and support we recieved while our baby was in the stollery nicu. All the little things add up in a big way and we are so very thankful for everything.

User

We were up there just four days but the short visit is surely nice visit we enjoyed our time there and met other families glad we had the opportunity love it

User

We haven't stayed at RMH for years but when we did it made having to be away from home (3 hours away) a little easier. The staff and volunteers were truly amazing.

User

Was like nothing we had ever seen before. In times of trouble and needing a helping hand. We stayed for an amazing 2 wks. Lifted a great deal of stress off our backs and allowed us to send our much needed energy on our newborn. No amount of thanks could ever be said to them for what they do for families in need!!!

Thank you for everything!!

User

Was a wonderful opportunity to be able

To stay in this house while our son was having surgery at the Stollery! Couldn't say enough amazing things about it. Our son was diagnosed with Hypoplastic left heart syndrome at 20 weeks gestation and at a day old he was flown to Edmonton and had his first surgery at only a week old. He is now almost 2 weeks old and we were able to go

home today!

User

This was our home away from home, and we came a long ways (Yellowknife, NWT) we were welcomed in like a family and my daughter has always felt comfortable around the workers. We sure do miss the house, hoping to pop by for a visit during our daughters check ups thank you Ronald McDonald House for having us in your home.

User

Thanks so much for having given us such a warm and comforting place to stay again this week. This was our second stay so far. Our grandson had life saving heart surgery at the Stollery at just 13 days old and staying at the House has made our family’s journey easier. Many thanks to the staff and volunteers.

User

Our daughter just went through an open heart surgery and we were lucky enough to have a room at the Ronald McDonald House. The place offers everything we needed, great workers, amazing volunteers - just the welcome and warmth needed when going through such hard times. Thanks so much!!

User

It's a great place for all the needy families .. got an wonderful

Opportunity through work at RBC to be able to bake some muffins for breakfast at the Ronald McDonald house .. I am just amazed to see how well the house is organized.. all the efforts , emotions and volunteering put together to support the families that are going through such a rough phase with their sick child .. kudos to such an amazing organization ..

We would definitely want to come and volunteer again and encourage everyone to do it as and when time permits .. it's a wonderful

Feeling ..!!!

User

It is our home away from home, and the people within it are instantly family.

User

If it wasn't for this house we would never been able to be with our daughter everyday while she was in the hospital fighting for life and going through recovery. We thank this organization for being there for families that need this help. The staff and volunteers are amazing and treat everyone that is there like their own family. Again we thank you for the amazing help and care everyone has provided us while we are here.

I haven't used the house but my best friend did. During the house tour we walked through hand in hand with tears in our eyes. The generosity of people, of strangers was overwhelming! It was truly a blessing to be able to be close to baby while so far away from home. Plus the friendships thay were formed. I will always be greatful to all who made it possible for my friend and her baby to get healthy in a warm amd loving environment. ♡♡♡

User

I had the chance to stay in this house when my little girl came 8.5 weeks early and we had to stay in the city with her , I am so thankful that this house is here , it made us feel at home took away our worries we had ... We were very thankful we had a roof over our heads and such great support team around us ! I'm so very very thankful !!!!!

User

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this house, the staff and the volunteers. We were always greeted with kindness and were taken care of above and beyond our expectations. It truly is a home away from home.

User

I cant even express enough gratitude to the Ronald Mcdonald House. The staff and the volunteers were so amazing. We felt so at home there at such a stressful time in our lives. Thank you so much for welcoming our family and having this available. One of the best parts of the house is the shuttle service , I really relied on the drivers to get me to the hospital and back. They were always available to me.

User

I cannot express how grateful my family is to be able to stay at the RMH. Our sons surgery has been stressful enough without having to worry about accommodations. The staff had been more then amazing. This house has been so much more to us then simply a place to lay our heads at night. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all the staff and vollenteers who make this place so incredible!

User

Amazing what you learn when you go and visit and also volunteer for their Meals that Mend program! Everyone needs to go and take a tour. You will learn how much you would never know otherwise. Our company went last Sunday and I loved seeing the families happy faces as we filled their bellies. Wonderful staff and a great place to volunteer if you ever want to give back to the community. Definitely plan to go back in the future.

User

Amazing organization! It is hard to put into words what RMHCNA provided for my family in extremely difficult times... I have stayed at the house on 3 different occasions - first as a sibling while my brother was at the Stollery, the second preparing for the arrival of our daughter, and the third for our daughter's lung surgery... When recalling memories of our time at the house; and despite the uncertainly and stress of the situations we were in, I simply recall a sense of peace and calming. There is something so heartwarming about knowing you have a place to stay that truly felt like home. From the prepared meals, the helpful caring staff and volunteers, to the other families facing their own health challenges - it provided me and my family with a sense of closeness, and despite how alone and scared we felt at times through those uncertain chapters of our lives we found great comfort in the love and support that RMHCNA provided us. It truly is a home away from home - it was the first home we brought our daughter to <3 Grateful and humbled by the whole experience of staying at the house.

User

Our stay at the house was awesome and a very fruitful experience..Godbless and more power...
