Wings were great last night, service not so much. Really didn't come often and when they did, our mouths were full and they talked to us anyway

Went during happy hour to watch hockey - $5 deals on everything... Excellent prices. Server was friendly and quick. Food was tasty. We'll definitely be returning

Always a solid night in a cozy pub. Good specials help, too... 5$ everything on Thursday, anyone? Bit of an older crowd, which is nice and keeps the rowdiness down

I've heard from people in the past that the service here can be slow, though I haven't experienced that. Our service has always been relatively friendly and prompt.

The food here is fantastic. The menu isn't overwhelming and the items that I have ordered have always been pretty solid (love the burger here).

The beer menu is somewhat lacking, particularily given the type of clientelle the pub attracts. So keep that in mind.

What really shines here is the architecture. This pub is absolutely beautiful inside. It feels much older than it is and is completely swimming in charm.

Salad was okay...mostly leaves. Not worth $17 dollars. Could have gotten a much better salad at Seed and Salt for less.

Great cover bands every single weekend! Definitely a place to go for the twenty and thirty-something crowd that wants good live music, beer that flows like water, and dancing.

I like the atmosphere and the servers are friendly.
The 'new menu' they are touting is really... strange. It seems like they are trying very hard to please the 'yelp foodites' crowd and have no idea what average people like to eat. Literally every item on the menu has some weird ingredient thrown in just to be edgy.

I eventually decided to get the 'Blacksmith Shepherd's Pie".. but I wasn't sure what the hell "Blacksmith Gravy" was. Turns out - it's a gravy made with beer. Given that I was already drinking a rum and coke and I try to avoid mixing my alcohol, I wasn't terribly pleased at this. I also learned that the pies are made in advance (not fresh) so no ingredient substitutions are possible.

Breakfast was edible. Toast was dry, potatoes were deep fried. Not much effort in the Kitchen. Waitress was really good though!

The staff here towed our vehicle as we were coming in for dinner and drinks with a group after a short walk. This will not be an establishment any of us frequent again. Totally unfortunate treatment. Zero compassion or apology from staff. Not to mention the past two visits we've had to wait for ages for quite poor service. Final straw. There are more than enough great places and patios in this city. Do not waste you time here.

Good food, good staff, and they are great for holding our monthly Backgammon tournaments

Staff are awesome. Good prices and specials. Rad atmosphere.

First time back in a while. My argument about going is that I found the menu kind of ho-hum. Today, went in and a whole new menu! I enjoyed a blackened fish burger (halibut) with a side of asparagus and crab chowder... knocked my socks off. and Lorrie liked her beef dip too! Now if we could only get them to be more Local Friendly with their beer list,,,,, 5 stars if they had MORE local beer. Perfect match with meal, a 6 Corners Saison or Wild Rose IPA.

Wow great steak sandwich I was blown away. Arugula was a nice touch to go with the mushrooms and onions. Had salad on that side and was also very good. Nice Light oil n vinegar dressing. Compliments to today's chef and good service.
