Rosebud Theatre is located 1 hour east of the Calgary city limits or 30 minutes south west of Drumheller in the picturesque river valley of Rosebud, Alberta. There are four Opera House productions throughout the year and one Studio Stage show that run March to December. The theatre attracts over 40000 people per year, to our little hamlet of less than 100 people.

Though it is a quiet, very small town with no gas station, grocery store, or ATM, Rosebud is also home to Rosebud School of the Arts (post-secondary), Akokiniskway Golf Course, Rosebud Centennial Museum and a number of art galleries, gift shops and bed & breakfasts.

The Haskayne-Kenney Rosebud Mercantile, located at the main intersection of town, houses the box office, and various quaint, themed rooms, where delicious buffet meals and dinner music are enjoyed!
