They also do house calls if you have a sick puppy.

I brought my yorkie in after he had stepped on a bee. So glad they were open on Sunday. We got in right away and the vet was very kind and thorough.

I have been going to Dr. Jeffrey since I got my dog. He did the neuter for my fluff ball as well as the yearly vaccinations. I always enjoy my visits with him since he is nice to my pet and has very reasonable prices. It is also never hard to get an appointment with him. I would definitely recommend him!

We've been taking all our animals to this vet now for more than three years. Our dog and cat really like Dr. Jafar. He's kind and cares about the animals. He was very kind to us when we had to put our beloved poodle down four years ago. I recommend him to all my friends. Good rates, great care. What more could you ask for?

Don't bring your cat here. I don't know how this vet is getting such great reviews. I would give him 0 stars if I could. When he saw my cat, he was like, "OH! Is your cat friendly? Can I touch him? Will he scratch or bite?" My cat was fearful, but he has never scratched or bit anyone before but that's beside the point. Any vet should know how to handle a cat regardless of how the cat is behaving and would call in a tech if assistance was needed. Instead, the vet at this clinic asked me to hold my cat down and he acted scared of my cat the whole time. What's worse is he misdiagnosed my cat -- said my cat was sick and made me spend over $250 on medication. When I took my cat to a different vet, the diagnosis was completely different and my cat is fine. Honestly, do NOT bring your pets here.

Jeff was SO great with my 8 week old puppy. Very gentle and unbelievably friendly with my pup. The dogs first vet visit couldn't be any better. I will be coming here for veterinary services for the life of my dog.

Dr. Jafar was a life saver, literally. Previous vet did a bunch of expensive tests and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Jafar asked a few questions, and diagnosed in a single visit. (It was a critical illness).
Caring, reasonable rates, and a true gentleman. Dog loves him too.

We took our cat in that we had found at the lake and he said she needed her teeth cleaned and needed to be spayed. We said no to the teeth cleaning and yes to the spayed. We got a call that when he did the surgery she was already spayed and he cleaned her teeth anyway. Still wanted to charge us for both even though we had requested not to do her teeth and she never required surgery in the first place. Would never take another pet to him.

Dr. Jafar is a very thorough and experienced vet ! he is also very caring and compassionate. My dog got in to porcupine quills in the evening, and he was the only vet in the north west Calgary who accepted the emergency visit. While my regular vet simply said that they are closing, Dr. Jafar was the only vet who squeezed us in and stayed late until he removed all the quills from the face and mouth of my dog. I highly recommend Royal Veterinary Hospital to all pet owners specially in emergency situations.
