About Royal West
Royal West is an International Show Jumping event that will take place in down town Calgary at the world famous Stampede Park, beginning in October 2014.
Royal West Description
After 30 years, Rocky Mountain Show Jumping has teamed up with the Calgary Stampede to bring Show Jumping back to the heart of Calgary with the launch of the Royal West.
The Royal West will be a ten day tournament encompassing a wide range of divisions both Hunter, Jumper and Dressage, and will take place at the Agrium Western Events Centre in Calgary's down-town core in the centre of Stampede Park.
With a 2, 500 seat, 31, 250 square foot competition areana, and 20, 000 square foot Multi purpose hall that will act as a warm up ring, competitors will reap the benefits of one of North America's state of the art indoor facilities.
Scheduled each year for the end of October and into early November, the ten day event will sure to be a must on many the calendar of equestrian athletes from around the world.
