We’ve stayed at the Rundelstone before and are going back next month on our 25th Anniversary trip to beautiful Canada. The room last time was great and Michael Hall at the front desk was wonderful. It’s been a few years since we were there and he remembered us when I called to make reservations this time. Super helpful! We sent others and they’ve had the same great experience! Loved it!!

We loved our stay at Rundlestone for our 20th anniversary in August 2017!! Our kids were with us and had a blast. Great big room, lovely view, and clean. The staff and management were superb in every way - restaurant and activity suggestions, check-in, bike rental, bear spray, movies for the kids, etc...truly memorable!

We just stayed there this month. Loved everything about this hotel. The staff was great and very friendly, we had a small suite and loved it. Had a view of the mountains out the living room window. Got up early one morning and there were four elk outside. We ran down and got some great pictures. Enjoyed visiting with locals while enjoying some Canadian beers in the bar. The bartender, Dallas, was very friendly and we had some great conversations. Saving up now to go back in a couple of years. We want to return when it is snowing.

We got an upgrade room which was amazing! The receptionist was very kind and nothing is too much! The dining in the restaurant was also very good. Compliments to the staff, we will be back.

Very very nice place. Room and jacuzzi was just what we needed after two weeks thru Rockies. Highly recommended

This hotel is situated just on the outskirts of Banff village, just a short walk from the main town centre of shops and restaurants. Nice location and the hotel meets all your needs and requirements. Staff are very helpful during the staff and even after as we lost an item at their hotel and we're quick to reply to us to inform the item was still in their possession. Gave us all the information we needed to get the item back and helped us every step of the way.

Excellent hotel and excellent staff.

My husband and I came here for a romantic weekend getaway. Stayed in the honeymoon suite and we got our money's worth. The room was cavernous but still cozy with an amazing view of the mountains. We had dinner at Bumpers and enjoyed the food and Tony's amazing service. This has been our place and they never disappoint.

Just checked out this morning after a brilliant week in Banff and had a lovely comfortable stay here. The front of house staff especially Rachel who was so helpful and helped us book our Glacier trip , Jack was also very helpful and all the staff were friendly and courteous. Room was a great size and fridge was an added bonus, hotel handy for walking to the shops especially "Beaver Tails" Hopefully be back in a couple of years once we have saved up again !! Thank you for making our week in Banff a memorable one p.s we seen 2 bears yesterday on the way to the Glacier adventure and also a deer right outside the hotel !!p.p.s DVD player in room was fab also !!

I've stayed here a couple of times and would love to stay there again when we're back in Banff in November. We've had a wonderful time both times and found all staff extremely helpful. I can't believe the comments from the people I have just read from the reviews. Even if we can't stay here in November we will definitely be calling in for food and drinks as we love it so much.

Fabulous! Life's to short to complain about little things! I was just grateful for all they had to offer! I didn't mind that there wasn't an information book... all the more to curiosity to seek my own answers in banff! Great Job guys!

2nd time staying at this hotel. Love it. The staff are amazing and made sure we were comfortable. Clean rooms, pool area and all.... Will be back

User

Nice clean hotel. We had a king bed room. Only complaint the bed was not the best as to soft. But everything else about the hotel and the hotel workers was a great experience.

User

The price was waaaaaay to high. The room was small. 400$ per night is not what I want to pay for poor quality service and a poor quality room. Not impressed. Could have stayed at Banff springs for just 50 dollars more. Which would have definitely been more worth it.

User

It was ok. Room was decent. Staff were friendly, but.....

No room service, no information book in the room, no in-room movies, spotty cable and wifi, and missing a few nice amenities in the room like a plastic laundry bag for wet swimming suites. The pool needed cleaning and they allowed people to drink beer in the hot tub even though there were little kids around. Breakfast was pricey ($16) for a very lacklustre buffet.

Sadly, we'll probably look elsewhere on our next visit to Banff.

Front desk was amazing ! But I was very disappointed in almost everything else... the night we checked in we went for dinner at the Bumpers steak house on site.

We were met with a guy who worked the bar side who had a very off putting attitude.. he asked us if we wanted the full .r u or just the lounge . We asked for full menue and after 5 min he came back when we asked him for the lounge menue he was very rude and stated he had already asked us if we wanted that and we said no... there were 2 guys at the bar and not another patron in the place and we were shocked to be treated like that... we ordered our food and it came with salad bar... let me just say the salad bar was out rite disgusting.. the lettuce was brown and soggy .. all the other salads looked like they sat out for over an hour.. and there were no cold cuts or anything really to make a salad worth eating.. the fact they charge 17.00 for this if you just want the salad bar seems crazy...

Our room was nice.. clean and spacious.. but the toilet would run not stop if you didn't shake the handle this was a pain throughout the night... no microwave seems a little weird considering every room in ever stay in has one ( this being Said the front desk was amazing about letting us use there one behind the desk!!

Pool was very dirty on the bottom.. and hot tub was at 36 degrees... not really a hot tub.

On morning of check out I went to get ice and someone had vomited in the little room all over the floor and in the garbage bin in there.. I told the room cleaners as the hall way was full of them . The one I told said they would clean it right away... but when I went back 15 min layer to buy a bottle of water.. I slipped in a half wiped up floor in the vomit that was not cleaned up proper just wiped over ... I was disgusted and very upset .. I got into another outfit.. got my stuff in my car and checked out..

I will never stay here again ... and for over 200 dollars a night I expect much more ... I have stayed in 4 neighbouring lodges and NEVER had even a quaternary of these issues..

I would recommended some more managing of this property.

We were disappointed that the hot tub was not open due to chlorine problems. We were also told that the restaurant would be open until 10 pm and when we went down at 9:30 we were told it was closed and we then had to drive to another restaurant to eat something. The price was high for a one night stay and I don’t think we would go back there. Service was okay hit definitely not 4 or 5 star as the price suggests!!
