We are energetic and committed women serving to keep Sacred Heart Hospital working efficiently with up-to date equipment and services. Feel free to join us

Who are we?
Volunteer women who assist the hospital in relation to patient care and /or financial contributions, establish good public relations, and raise funds to carry out the objectives of the society.

Who is eligible for membership?
Any women, 18yrs or older, who is interested in volunteering to help out our hospital.

Why are we so important?
Without volunteers, patients would not recieve small favors during holidays to make their stay more enjoyable, certian medical equipment would be cut from goverment budgets, and no bursarys would be avaliable for post-secondary students in health care related programs.

What is required of members?
-Attend a meeting once a month (every 4th Monday for approx 1hr, 7pm in the hospital board room)
-Help with occasional fundraising such as casinos and occasional raffles
-Help distribute favors to patients during the holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and Valentines day.
-Help maintain and stock the vending machines at the hospital.
-Help assist and maintain the gift store.
All these responsibilities are shared amoung the women who volunteer.
