Saddle Hills County Description

Situated in the Central Peace Region of northwestern Alberta, Saddle Hills County is located approximately 500 kilometres north of Edmonton and only 40 kilometres north of Grande Prairie. Home to a diverse agricultural community, Saddle Hills County also contains rich deposits of natural gas and oil for which Alberta is so well known.

With the beautiful Peace River Valley forming our northern boundary and the Saddle Hills to the south, we offer picturesque landscapes filled with stunning contrasts and abundant wildlife. Elk, moose and deer are just a few of the wild animals that roam our deep river valleys, lush wooded hillsides and rolling plains.
